We've been in La Rochelle for about a week now and have eaten out just about every meals. For the…read moremost part the food has been reasonable to good and the service always as good as can be expected with the virus situation, sometimes even excellent. Until we ate at Le Manzio. Five tables were seated after us and all were not only served but had finished their meals before we had received ours. It reminded me of Paris in the 70's And then it took even longer to get the check with the staff cleaning tables and setting them up before bringing us our check. And the food was barely adequate.
