Right at Home / Linwood, NJ - Brian and Rosalie and their staff did a consistently Great Job in transporting, assisting and caring for my 87 yr old mom when she needed travel and help going to and getting around at the market, for doctor visits and other errands during her year long stay in south jersey. I would strongly recommend these folks for your transport and care needs. read more

I would like to take a minute to thank Brian and everyone at Right at Home. We have been with this company since 2013. Brian the owner of company was always just a phone call away. If there was any issue what's so ever, he was right on top of it and was resolved very quickly. Our aides that we had over the years were very good to my dad. I would highly recommend this company. read more

That being said, I'd assume someone who is in nursing would be the same, if not more so, because they are dealing with sick people. Today a Bayada nurse came to the house for my mother. First off, she was an hour late. She finally arrived, and I opened the door for her, as my mom can't really get up and about. Ok, she didn't even look at me or say hello, but just glanced down judgingly at my pajama pants and bare feet. Girl, I'm on vacation. She doesn't shake my mom's hand, she doesn't give her a bright and bubbly, "Hi there! I'm so and so!! How are you??!!?!?!?" which is REALLY what I would expect in this situation, and especially because their advertising leads me to believe that they love people! She sits down on the couch and asks, "So what do you need me for...." She was abrupt and really rough around the edges. I was leaning against the counter in the kitchen watching and listening to her, and it blew my mind SO much how detached and cold she was, that I had to go to the other side of the house. No personality AT ALL! The reason I give 2 stars instead of 1 is because she did DO her job... So that does earn a star from me. You're dealing with people who are sick or just out of surgery, and believe me, a smile and a friendly demeanor goes a LONG WAY! *this is strictly MY opinion, not my moms. :) im sure she'd want me to say that.*

My family was faced with an almost no-notice "released from hospital to hospice care" situation for an elderly mother (age 95), who would need 24/7 nursing aide assistance. Hospital social worker gave me six phone numbers for such assistance. Two were "wrong numbers/out of service", two only offered hourly/shift aides, and two offered "live-in nurses aide care." One of those was Right At Home. When I contacted Right At Home, I pointed out that I needed live-in aide assistance THE NEXT DAY, and this company jumped through some amazing hoops to make this happen. From the initial evaluation of my mother's condition, performed by the company's Director of Nursing, to eventually meeting the nurse's aide assigned to us, I was overwhelmed by the care and compassion with which they treated my bed-ridden mother. Over the course of the next 8 days, our live-in aide, Sonnie, performed herculean tasks to ease the pain/discomfort/suffering experienced by my dying mother. I cannot thank Right At Home enough for all that they did to help my mother in her final days. My distinct impression of working with their Director of Nursing and with Sonnie was that even though they did not know my mom, they treated her as if she were THEIR family. My sincere thanks to Right At Home. Michael S. Whitty San Clemente, CA read more

Right at Home provided in-home care for my mom for many years. Brian Maroney and staff were accessible at all times, always responsive and professional. Our caregivers became part of the family and we would have been lost without their loving care. Everyone went above and beyond and made mom feel extremely comfortable. I would not recommend another company, other than Right at Home. read more
