During my search Bob at Barnegat Funeral Home was the only one to take the time to really explain the process and help me through navigating it. He wrote it. Repeated it. And he was sensitive to our brains not working or being able to process this loss while attempting to make arrangements with him. He made time away from his family on a holiday weekend to meet us and accomodated all our needs. Late night calls. Repeated questions. With so much patience. His empasthism and his staffs empasthism was extremely consoling and heart warming. The funeral home is beautiful. The way the light comes into the rooms makes it so brightening for a last goodbye. I really can't say enough great things about this place and the staff. Thank you to them for everything and more and helping us through our loss.

You would think being that they do this for a living they would know "proper etiquette." They rudely interrupted a family member while they were up at the casket. Made a family member step back outside while she was entering because she was in the process of putting her mask on, and shut the door in her face. The planning process was just as terrible as they were extremely unhelpful & gave no direction. We had to correct them for putting the wrong date of death in the obituary. Again these were a few rough days for our family & they made the situation worse.
