We went to twinys looking for quick bite to eat under $20 and it was a hard search unfortunately (we were tired of quick meals at coop and migros). And twinys really came to our rescue. It's a food stand so everything there is to go and there is no where to sit. The staff was very friendly, one of my friends had a food allergy and they had no issues whatsoever adjusting his sandwich accordingly. I got the chicken sandwich, their staple sandwich and I was a big fan. Would recommend getting the twiny sauce and the garlic sauce as well. Was quite a flavorful sandwich and the staff even added extra pickles after I joked it. The bread is nice and crispy and the chicken came out hot. My friends loved their salami sandwich. I would note that the sandwiches can be a bit messy, we had a few bread crumbs and pieces of lettuce fall out while eating and the sauce does start to drip. We ended up coming back for more sandwiches later in our trip as our go to quick eat spot that is inexpensive. If you are looking for a bite without spending a fortune in Lucerne would recommend a visit!

Served on a baguette, the sandwich had multiple cutlets of schnitzel throughout. They go heavy on the sauce and Im here for it! The sandwich was filling but a little messy. The fries were good, nothing remarkable, but good old heated up precut frozen fries. We took our food down to the water and ate on a bench. It was great. In fact, we were so full from our sandwiches we decided to skip our sit down dinner a couple hours later.

So I could easily tell if it's a good coffee or not. I tried Segafredo Coffee in Tokyo and I liked it. Japanese customer are used to high quality and good service. Every western company knows this very well before opening a branch there. So I bought a Segafredo coffee for 3.60 Swiss francs and wanted to enjoy it in the train. The coffee taste was so disappointing bad quality and low level. Even coffee from coffee filter machine is much better. They look so perfect, I often imagine they are plastic. I would love to try one in order to just be able to write a review, but I can't bring myself to try one. I grabbed my coffee after cringing from handing over 5.50 for a double espresso...I couldn't believe the price. The boast to be a fabulous Italian roast. The service is rapid and the couple running this place is rather friendly. A couple of outdoors table allow you to eat in all safety during the pandemic, although take-away is also a great option. Prices are super competitive and overall, I would definitely advise this spot for a quick lunch or an evening snack.
