Our 3 year old dog had cancer with many, many tumor growths all over on the outside of her body…read more Glacieal Lakes was the clinic that did the initial biopsy and diagnosed her. One growth became extremely large. We brought her in and the vet told us she it would be okay to surgically remove it. She did the surgery Monday morning and we were told she would be able to come home Tuesday. After not receiving any phone call by Tuesday afternoon we called them. We were told she was fine but they wanted to keep her another night but again stated she was fine. We came to get her on Wednesday and she definitely was not okay. She could barely walk and her breathing was labored. They again told us she was okay and would be better soon. Within two hours of bringing her home she started throwing up blood and mucous and couldn't walk. We brought her to a different vet and she told us it was internal infection she was vomiting and the humane thing to do would be to put her to sleep. This was less than 4 hours after leaving Glacial Lakes. We were told that Glacial Lakes would have known that surgery would have been overly stressful and dangerous for our dog. We went to Glacial Lakes the day after we put our sweet girl to sleep. We told them all this and they did not take any responsibility for anything. They still denied that keeping her an extra day was because she wasn't doing well after the surgery or that she wasn't doing well when we brought her home. They unnecessarily put our dog extreme pain and suffering. They unnecessarily put us through unimaginable emotional distress, They lied to us from the beginning to the end. But of course we still had to pay their bill, DO NOT USE THIS VETERINARY CLINIC!!!!

I think it's called Critter Mart now? If it is... here's my review…read more EW!! It looks nothing like these pictures. It smells horrid right when you walk in, but the reptiles are horrid. There was a dead skink in one tank, and an "armadillo lizard" (which I'm fairly sure was actually a uromastyx) and a bearded dragon living together which is never a good idea. Not to mention it looks and smells like none of the enclosures in there had been cleaned in ages. Poop everywhere, especially with the "breeding" crested geckos. I wonder if she even knows that uromastyx are vegetarian? I saw no greens, only bugs in that enclosure. I'm from Idaho, here visiting family. I breed bearded dragons and was considering giving her a business card if she ever wanted any quality dragons but seeing the poor conditions of he other animals made me sick. Please don't buy these poor animals. If they are given homes, it's should be for rescue!

There may be times when you go into the store that it smells of animals, it's a pet store and there will be a smell when cages are being cleaned out. Unlike the RUDE girl, Casey A who obviously has no clue and needs to go back to Idaho. Try going after cages have had their cleaning and you will find the store is like any other pet store. Do not compare it to the large franchise stores, compare it to real mom & pop stores. The owner is very willing to get the products that you need and does go out of her way. When I move back to the large cities, her customer service will be missed.
