Ridgewood Park Preschool is like a little hidden gem. I honestly didn't even know it was there until a neighbor posted that they had an opening for my son's age. I had been on several school tours, and as an Educational Therapist, I found very few that I was interested in. I wasn't completely set on sending my son (then 3 years old) to school, so I wasn't frantic about getting on a wait list. But I toured RP, and I fell in love. I adore the teachers and admin. Their hearts truly are devoted to their work. My son even pretends he's his teacher when we're reading stories! When I had a concern about my son, they were incredibly approachable, truly listened, and we created a plan of action together. I can find something to criticize about almost any school, but Ridgewood Park will always hold a special place in my heart. They made my son's his first formal educational experience a magical one. They're warm, nurturing, and have helped foster my son's desire for learning. He feels good about himself every time I pick him up. What more can you ask for? read more
