The clues weren't anything unique or special, and there were no "wow" factors that I have seen in other rooms. It seems like they just threw some random stuff together in the room and didn't have a lot of details throughout. They offered unlimited clues, but we didn't even have to use any clues as it was very simple. There was an obvious order of how to solve the puzzles, but it is usually more fun to have multiple puzzles happening at once so more people can be involved/invested. We got out in under 30 minutes, so it wasn't really a challenge. Overall, it was a bit of a disappointment. The staff was nice, though!

I think these are great (if they are done well). I have only been to one other escape room in the area so I am coming a bit off of my own perceived expectations of what I think an escape room should be. So with that onto my review, NO SPOILERS AHEAD. First off, I was a bit nervous walking into the building because it seemed kinda plain. The last escape room we went to sadly had a room that I found lacking of props so I prepared myself to find that again. But I was happily wrong. The room that we tried had multiple rooms with varying degrees of clues, props, and furniture. It actually felt like we were walking into a room that had been just left by our nemesis. It was not at all like a room full of Goodwill furniture. The props were smartly arranged and used, a fair amount of detail goes into each one. They also had created a video beforehand that tied the story together with a few funny shout outs to the character later in the game. Nice touch. Our family solved the puzzle with 5 minutes to spare and a few clues to help us on our way. My whole family had a fun time and we found the puzzles challenging but not unsolvable. You are monitored by cameras and microphones (slightly creepy) the whole time so staff know when you are getting stuck and if you request it, they will slide clues under the door of the room. I think it would be hilarious to be a staff member and watch countless people try to figure out something you already know. If you are in Mankato and looking for something to do as a group, this will be a unique and fun experience. They are close to Mankato State and some really good places to eat so make it a night!

This review is based on a limited experience with Fort Frenzy…read more While I see from its website that there are many attractions that make up Fort Frenzy at different times, my experience is based on attending a concert here on November 6, 2024. For a concert, I highly recommend this place. I came from out of state, to start with. Venue is easy to find, easy in and easy out. Anything you could need is found about two stoplights away. Plenty of parking. Very accessible space. Clean. The sound was big! Standing room only type space but I did spot an area of what looked like built in seating along one side that seemed behind a rope but I presume was for all. I don't know who or what usually plays here but I feel like this is a space you could and should travel to for shows to say you "saw them before". I drove A LOT of hours on a weeknight for this and would do it again in a minute. Oh and the hotel is within feet of the back door of the concert hall so just plan to stay over!

The bumper car area is to small for the 6 cars they have in there. One of the games included in the 2 hour pass was shut down the entire time we were there so we didn't even try it (hologate). The kids and I were ready to leave after less than an hour and a half. It really wasn't worth the $150 for 2 hours we spent. I wouldn't recommend this establishment to others.
