Our dinner at Rico's was, in a nutshell, not remarkable. For the Michelin rating and the price I would have expected exceptional service and a little more ambiance. The food was delightful, but trying to get to a place where we understood how to order was a chore. Perhaps we chalk that up to being Americans. But little misses like providing only 6 dinner rolls for 7 guests, and forgetting wine pairings, and telling me a could not order a coffee drink because they concentrate on wines, just didn't live up to the hype for me. And the clincher was that my entree, the veal dish, was slightly tough and chewy. And yes I have had veal many times where it was moist and succulent and delicious. Somewhat disappointing experience overall for me. read more
