We…read morehave many happy memories of walking here with the daughters when they were little, playing with them at the playground up top, swinging on the swings down low, playing frisbee on the grass. Today we walked a whole loop (my daughter, her college friend, and I to get some exercise before going out to brunch. We admired the view from the Osuna Overlook, walked past workers weeding and trimming the new garden area between the upper and lower parks up top with river rock bordered paths. Looks super nice! My daughter commented that they ought to let local youth paint the rocks--that'd be a cool community event! We proceeded down the paved street that passes by the Scout House, crossed over by the pollinator garden where a kind person pointed out the bat house they placed there (I learned bats are good pollinators and that they need to be protected from raccoons!) Onward to the butterfly garden where I saw a monarch butterfly! We continued to the duck pond at the lowest part of the park where there are picnic areas to be reserved for birthday parties and picnics. We saw a pair of mallard ducks and a solo heron. Spring has sprung! Everything is blooming and the wild creatures are atwitter. Truly a marvelous community park. They even host an annual half marathon here. My brother-in-law and I ran it together in 2012 and it was challenging! Perhaps the biggest challenge being the walk uphill after the race to get to the beer garden lol. I think we ended up not going there and just walking home. Anyway, if you're in the area, check it out! There are several different hiking trails and lots of flora and fauna to admire.

It's rare to find a park that feels this expansive yet so welcoming and well cared for. What made our visit especially memorable was Ranger Alejandro. He took the time to introduce himself to our group during a park day with our kids and dogs, offered to lead a ranger-guided doodle-and-toddler hike, and even shared his contact information. That level of kindness and community care says so much. This park is a beautiful example of our tax dollars at work, and it makes me incredibly proud to call this city home. We absolutely can't wait to go back.

The park itself is stunning and well maintained. Huge grassy area, large playground, some nice shade. It's completely tucked away in a neighborhood and not really in an area you'd drive by. We stayed 5 minutes and my 6 year old was bored and we left despite it being lovely, it was vacant. Probably not young families in the insanely pricey homes. Just a weird spot.

The name is a bit deceptive as I thought it would be bigger. Came here on a Sunday afternoon. There was about 8 children playing on the park, a few dog owners walking their dog, and a family shooting the basketball around on the small half court. You can probably walk the entire strip in about 4 minutes so if you're go a hour long walk, know you'll be going back and forth a few dozen times. What I do like about it is that the grassy area is just all grass and relatively flat. You can lay out. You can do cartwheels. You can play frisbee. But it does feel like as soon as there is 20 people here, it would feel crowded. Plenty of parking in the surrounding neighborhood or on the street.

Love that! They even have a small sand area with cool little gadgets for the kids to stay busy with. There is a huge grass area to play games, sports, or just run free. I saw lots of people walking around getting their steps in. If you walk deeper into the park, there's a small basketball court & some bars to do pull ups or exercises on. My kids loved climbing on this & then we went back to the structures. Plenty of tables & benches for parents to sit. We even had a picnic together on one of the tables. Park seems pretty clean. My only complaint is I couldn't find a bathroom!! Maybe I missed it, but I couldn't see a bathroom anywhere on sight. Luckily the park is 2 blocks away from some stores, so make sure to have a potty break before coming here. It's a beautiful park in a nice neighborhood.

The park is very well maintained and I liked that it has a walkway that finds it way around the perimeter of the park. The grass is well kept, the playground equipment is in good working order, and the exercise station are great additions. There plenty of picnic tables scattered about and strategically placed in clusters near shaded trees. There are a couple of drinking fountains, hot coal disposal containers, and trash cans. Nice park.

We def enjoyed ourselves by taking advantage of the open field and less than crowded play structures. The structures seems updated and clean. I didn't go into the bathrooms so unsure if they were clean. I felt the kids to be safe here and in this area. It's located by a high school so you may run into teenagers who get picked up here or hang out. Swings, slides, updated merry go round, 2 play structures with monkey bars and a zip line feature. Cool playground for the kiddos.
