A tiny sensation from the local anesthesia, but even that was much less than usual because Dr. Viglione used a tiny needle. The test itself was completely painless and there was no pain afterwards. I was so happy to learn my bone score and discuss it with Dr. Viglione. It told me that, in addition to the bone loss I already knew about, my bone quality was low because my bone was soft. This is the information I needed to decide to take Prolia to improve my bones. I am an inventor of the technology and can attest that Dr. Viglione used it perfectly! He and his nurse Mary Sidavanh made it one of the most pleasant doctor's visits I can recall.

I started my journey with two different neurology practices closer to my home. After seeing Dr. Gibbs, my quality of life drastically improved. Response time to inquiries do vary. I believe that this is because Dr. Gibbs is giving his whole attention to the patient in front of him, which I wholy apppreciate. The front office staff is kind and considerate. I was very fond of him and he offered amazing patient care. My experience was not the same after he left and recently was considering changing my primary care provider. Fast forward to 2023--I learned Dr. Hughes returned to the practice, I was elated and couldn't wait to return to his care! I transferred immediately back to him as my primary care provider. It was easy to schedule appointments with him. He has the best personality, great listener and explains things thoroughly. He has a wonderful bedside manner and sense of humor. While the Doctor himself is personable, I would describe the staff as curt. My last interaction was the worst. I thought I would be moving out of state, so I did not pay the annual fee. After the debris flow, I postponed my move by a few months. When I called to see if he would renew my prescription anyway, I was told by a staff person, that incredulously, I hadn't been a patient for over two years! It had only been a few months. I wrote him a letter to see what he might have to say about the discrepancy, but I never received a response. My next Doctor told me I did not really need the prescription.
