We came to the office and then were told that we had to make another appointment and they could not do it today because Terri T. She could not do it today. My dad and I explained that he was told not to go home without the monitor. I also explained that I live out of state and I have to go back today for my own cardiology appointment. I am on the heart transplant list. I also explained that my father can I go back and forth to the office. Terri was very rude in had a smart attitude toward us. I started to ask her if she would be accountable if anything happened to him since he was not getting the monitor and what the Dr. ordered. No meaning to I talk with may hands and she stopped me very rudely and told me not to point my finger at her. My finger was not pointed but I was moving my hands in front of me. She was very unprofessional, very rude, very inappropriate and told us to schedule an appointment and left. She said she had to go downstairs to take care of something. She left. It was lunch time. She more than likely went to lunch. She needs to be reprimanded and I am also going to send a register letter of complaint in her HR file to document how she behaved and how inappropriate she was. She does not need to keep her job and the practice needs to get rid of the sour apple. She is totally horrible. Please do not dismiss this review

I have been with them for about 3 years now and have to say that these people are the most professional, most knowledgeable, and most caring medical professionals that I have ever felt with. They are capable of many types of heart procedures and operations, and they did a few on me that greatly improved my life. They work with me diligently to maintain proper and effective medications for my condition and they are immensely assuring and caring in the way that they work with me. I would highly recommend them.

They call them the physicians bill and the facility bill, even though the physicians are prisma health employees and the facility belongs to prisma health. Lots of terminology to augment the very little that was done. Itemize and squeeze every little thing (twice or more if possible) to rip off the patients. Warning for Everyone If you go for emergency care:…read more 1. Be safe by bringing someone with you who can help you and take up for you. You 100% need someone there to advocate for you! 2.Document *everything* that happens, as it happens. Write down the name of every nurse and doctor who you speak to, and what time you spoke to them. If they're a doctor, then specify whether they're a Resident or an Attending. 3. Take note of each urine and blood sample you provide, who you give it to, and what time you provided it. Do this for any diagnostic testing as well (MRIs, X-Rays, etc.) 4. Even if the staff is impatient or rude, even if they pressure you or coarse you, DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING without reading it & making sure you actually agree with it FIRST. Please keep in mind that there are many Resident physicians there to learn but not necessarily to provide your care. This is why multiple doctors will see you in the course of your visit. Each one may find something different, and some findings won't be documented, even if they're important. If a Resident physician has you sign anything or gives you a care plan, just make sure you confirm that information with the ATTENDING physician. The hospital doesn't usually explain the difference, but the Attending Physician makes the final decisions, and can override everything that's been done and said by any and all Residents. If a Resident finds something important, make sure you tell the Attending Doctor what was found, what time it was found, and the name of the Resident who found it. The emergency department at this place is very busy, often overflowing with patients. Due to the sheer volume of patients, the pace and culture set by the organization itself, and the fact that it's a teaching hospital, I strongly urge that anyone seeking care take these precautions. Personally, I've endured years of suffering and 6 different surgeries, all because one fateful night at GHS, a very important problem was discovered by a resident and could be seen in an MRI with contrast, but it was overlooked by everyone else. Communication between doctors, nurses and separate shifts was nonexistent. Promises were constantly being made and almost immediately broken. I definitely recommend going to a different Emergency Department if you can, but if GHS is your only option, just be super careful.
