Stay away.
I went to Rich Concept on December 11, and what shocked me was the level of inexperience from the barber who did my cut. He clearly did not know what he was doing and had to receive step-by-step instructions from other barbers who were still in their chairs working on their own clients.
There was no disclosure, no warning, and certainly no indication that I was essentially being used for practice. If someone is not qualified or still in training, that should be communicated upfront--or the service should not be charged for. Period.
This isn't about race; it's about the unfortunate reality that, too often, unprofessionalism and corner-cutting get overlooked in our own communities.

Be warned: Ask for a clear disclaimer about the barber's experience before you sit in that chair. My experience was unacceptable. read more
