Riccardos world of ice cream - the place everyone had recommended to us.
When we arrived there was a shortage of ice cream. We were able to choose among 5 different flavors (naturally the most obscure ones...). Nevertheless, picked and payed for the ice cream.
Due to local sanitary regulations(?!?!) we were not allowed to sit in the café section since we had ice cream. The benches outside were occupied by wasps and even more wasps.
instead of enjoying the ice creams we were forced to half eat our ice creams, throw away the coffee (served as swimming pool for two of the wasps) and run back to the car in order to prevent a prophylactic shock.
Probably a good place for ice cream when the wasps are gone but for us it was more of a disaster for the time being.
The ice cream itself was not fantastic but not bad either. Better than B&J's, almost equivalent to the better Häägendazs and a few miles behind that tiny wonderful shop in Szczecin, Poland where they also made their own ice cream. read more
