What a great place! We stopped by a few days ago after our trip through the treacherous rain forest. Our hostess Heidi was such a delight and the food was great!! We both had jerk chicken tacos with spicy aioli sauce. They were so good we returned tonight for the same. Also had a blueberry lemonade which hit the spot! Only drawback...flies. Right on rainbow beach. Prices were reasonable. I had the Wahoo sandwich with sweet potato fries and the caramelized Cauliflower with buffalo sauce. I ordered the wahoo grilled. The flavor was on point and it wasn't dry like most of the fish I had in St. Croix. By far, the best fish I had. The cauliflower was perfect too. The seating is outside with perfect views of the ocean and beach. They have clean bathrooms. They didn't have soap to wash your hands. read more

this place is so bad that the service sucks. The food was OK other than plastic being in it and coming up with some stupid excuse of why it was there, but not offering a slightest apology or anything. I think that people go to this beautiful island to eat a great lunch or dinner and then wind up with this kind of poor Service and poor food. I went to Rhythms on a Sunday after visiting Sandy Point. My party wanted a place to eat that also has a spectacular view of the sunset and blue Caribbean waters. Rhythms was packed along with the adjacent beach area. Parking was a bit hectic and unorganized. We were lucky to get a table on the deck with a view. Some type of band was playing and they were just ok. We decided on appetizers and rum drinks. Our waitperson promptly took our order, but had zero personality. We were served and enjoyed our apps and drinks which included buffalo wings, grilled cauliflower, teriyaki chicken, soft pretzels, and onion rings. Once the sunset was done, we left. Overall it was a fun evening, but the lack of waitstaff personality will make dining at Rhythms a forgettable experience. read more

I visited Rhythm's (for food and drinks) several times over past ten years. I pains me to report (literally and figuratively) that after eating a grouper sandwich I suffered abdominal pain and Montezuma's revenge. When I return to St. Croix, I guess I will eat at Turtles twice! read more

You know how you sometimes a place you visit while on vacation is SOOO good it finds its way into every story about your vacation? Well that was Rythyms at Rainbow Beach for us. In fact, our first visit was so good we ate there a second time...something we never do. Our first night staying at the Blue House down the street we decided to stay close and eat here...and we got there about an hour before sunset. We were seated immediately and as we reviewed the menu our waitress (Wisdom was her name and she was amazing) came over to take our drink orders. Going with her recommendation we ordered a Dark and stormy for Wifey and I had a Pain Killer (first one was so good and went down so quickly I had a second). Wifey and I ordered the Mahi tacos she had onion rings and I had cole slaw. My daughter had fried shrimp and fries and my son had the rainbow wings and fries. The tacos were huge with 2 each and not only were they filling they were quite excellent...as were the rings and fries. I thought my daughter was going to need more food when we ordered (an athlete who always seems to be hungry and never gains weight), but she was stuffed when we finished. My son can be a bit of a snob when it comes to wings and he's usually pretty particular about the sauce...but I say and watched this boy suck every drop of sauce from the wings and then use his finger to get the rest off the basket. As I said, we had such a great meal here that we went back closer to the end of our vacation and had Wisdom as our waitress again. This time they had a special of fresh local lobster tacos and bisque. My wife and I both had the tacos with one spicy and one citrus ginger aioli each and fries again. I also had the bisque. My daughter had a Caesar salad with grilled shrimp and my son had the wings again. We also had the drink specials...mango mojitos. Once again Rythyms hit a grand slam with everything we ate (and drank). If I ever get back to St Croix I am 100% sure I'm going back to Rythyms the first night I'm there! read more

Nicely located restaurant with a small adjacent beach. TVs with NFL ticket a plus. Very typical bar menu: wings, burgers, tacos, pulled pork. Burgers good, but pulled pork absolutely repulsive, no meat and drowning in bbq sauce (only ate half). $4 surcharge for sweet potato fries. While in St. Croix we decided to take a cab to Frederiksted to grab some grub. We saw this spot had good reviews and wanted to try it out. Their location is perfect, sitting right on the beach. It was pretty busy at the moment. My company ordered drinks and i decided to get a coconut water, no pulp, gross lol. We ordered mozzarella sticks for appetizers, not bad, not over fried. For my meal i had the jerk pork platter and omgggggg it was absolutely amazing!! I took my time to eat it and savor the flavor with every bite, some of the best jerk pork I've ever had! My lady had shrimp tacos which were very good, shrimp grilled nicely. After the deliciousness of the pork platter I just had to get an adult drink and decided to get a pina colada, which hit the spot, not too strong though. Overall the food here is very very good and the drinks are decent. The service was a bit slow, they were kind of busy though. They also didnt allow a split check, there was only 4 of us, but whatever. The outdoor only seating can be irritating in the sun, but you can also sit in the shade at the bar, if you're in the area I recommend to try this place out. read more

I guess people come here because the beach is right next door...but it was the most crowded beach we saw all week -- you can do better! We stopped in for lunch and the menu looked good enough...but by the time we got our food an hour later, the vibe had worn off. Now don't get me wrong, I'm all about island time and not rushing...but for a good 1/2 hour, there was no one in the kitchen! And then some of the food came out cold! The waitress even apologized for it taking so long without us commenting... Skip this place IMO -- there are so many better places on the island! read more

Reasonable prices and good food, but when you are sitting at the beach outside and waiting a long time to get your check, kind of ruins it to be a 5 star. This is my favorite place in the Caribbean. The location is perfect with a view of smooth sand and perfect blue water and service is Excellent. And the food is fantastic with selections of fresh fish sandwiches and tacos. The fresh lobster tacos are amazing with the citrus aioli dressing. They always have Mahi Mahi and the other fresh fish include tuna and wahoo when available. My wife likes the non seafood choices. The pork tenderloin sandwich is a real tenderloin not the fake kind. Other good choices include the philly, the bbq pork, hot dog on a pretzel bun and the jerk chicken. They have a great drink selection including the Cruzan Confusion and the Painkiller both made with local rum. The margaritas have always been outstanding too! Beer includes local Leatherback brews. Weve been eating here for over 5 years so this review blends multiple visits. Servers are always great. The last few months we've had Dani as our server and she's been great! After eating you can sit and watch the water or run out and jump in the perfect blue water. read more

One of the few places to eat on the west side of the island. I gave it five stars as I think it's the best choice around. They have a full bar and good bar food. The bar is on the sand at rainbow beach and is very convenient for lounging on the beach and getting drinks. The beach is a great spot for swimming and water sports. read more

Came here with a friend after being at the beach for the day. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast. The view from the patio dining is gorgeous especially at sunset. We were not disappointed or dissatisfied with our orders. We had a pretty large appetite considering being on the beach all day. We both had a hard time finishing our food and drinks. Menu is nothing special. Drinks are okay and typical for a college bar. Location is great with a great atmosphere on the weekends.

We came across this place after spending some time at the beach, came in & had no problem being seated. Drinks I had the Passion fruit margarita this was good, nice taste.. also tried the Coco loco? Cant recall exact name ...but it was Nice & refreshing good drink. Food I had the Shrimp tacos with sweet potato fries .. very good tacos, great tasting shrimp the sweet potato fries were very good. Also tried the Mozzarella sticks not bad the Beef Jerky pork full plate here with rice this was very good as well. The Tilapia bites were decent as well just needed some lime on it. Such a typical island restaurant, open air right by the beach nice views but the bugs are a pain in the neck best to sit in the shade otherwise u will melt while eating & drinking. Service was not bad, a bit annoying that they "DO NOT" split checks I mean what's the problem? We had 4 people & just wanted 2 separate checks but because we had order they couldn't do it .. Smh! We went and spent the day at Rainbow Beach and walked over to Rhythms. While there we had several drinks (local brew Leatherhead) and the lobster tacos. Man they were awesome. The French fries we terrific. The service was awesome and they were very friendly. The view from the table overlooked the sea and was fantastic.
