She was incredibly nice, but as we settled into the appointment she revealed that she had taken a decade long sabbatical to raise her children. And that during her state board exam she knocked over a bucket of water, etc, so although she never completed any of the procedures she was supposed to, she passed because she focused on health and safety. Her time without scissors in her hands showed in my haircut. It was lopsided, and she cut off quite a bit more than we talked about. She sent me out of the salon with a half damp brushed out 'style' on my naturally wavy hair -- i looked like a poodle in Florida humidity. This nightmare cost $35 and I lost even more length getting the cut fixed. So, I would say it was expensive considering what I got out of it. She was very sweet, but I regret failing to ask more questions before I sat down in her chair.
