Their internet connection was not secure, so my husband called to order the stand over the phone. He was told he had to order the item online. He was also told the item was in stock and the employee would mail it that day. Nine days later, with nothing delivered, my husband called to find out what was going on with the order. The man told him he would have to look it up and call my husband back. He did not call. The next day, my husband called again and had to leave a message. I was concerned that we had paid in full and had no merchandise and no explanation. I called...the same man asked if he could call me back as he was with a customer. He knew exactly why I was calling. I insisted he call me back as soon as he was done with his customer. Instead, my husband receives an email stating we were getting a refund. NO EXPLANATION, just the email. So apparently, had we not contacted them, they would have kept our money. Additionally, did they not have the stand in stock? A completely shady transaction and business. Don't give them your business online!

This was my first and last purchase with LFD Homefurnishings. I bought a new washer, and after…read moreinstallation, we immediately noticed issues. When we tried to do our first load of laundry, the washer made loud, awful banging noises. When we investigated and looked to the left side of the washer, we saw a dent that had been made on the pedestal. I personally removed the old washer and confirmed there was no damage beforehand. My laundry room is small--only the two delivery men entered while we were nearby in the garage the entire time. I later learned the washer was installed on an unbalanced pedestal, which caused the noise. The delivery team gave conflicting stories--first claiming the dent was already there but they forgot to mention it, then saying they told us (which they did not). When I contacted LFD, I was met with terrible customer service. Manager Diana was rude, constantly interrupted me, and showed no empathy. She insisted her workers are "honest" and "never lie," yet their story kept changing, and they didn't even follow their own policy. She told us the installers were "doing us a favor" by placing the washer on our pedestal, which supposedly goes against their rules--something we were never told in advance. I later found out that Diana spoke with one of the owners, Bob Garcia, and told him they would not resolve the issue or cover any damages. I was never contacted about this decision--just left to find out that my case had been closed without notice. Yes, the washer works now that it's been removed from the pedestal, but I'm left with a visibly dented pedestal that they damaged. To make matters worse, we were pressured by a saleswoman to purchase a $29 hose, told the washer would not be installed at all without it. Yet during delivery, they used our old hose. The new one is still unopened in its packaging. We had been loyal customers of Cons for years, and ever since they shut down, we've been searching for a new place to shop for our appliances and home furnishings. LFD was first on our list, and we had high hopes. If they would've just taken responsibility and resolved the issue right away, we would've continued shopping with them. But after this experience, we will never shop at LFD again. This company has shown zero accountability, poor communication, and unprofessional behavior from sales to management. I strongly warn others: avoid shopping at LFD.
