So I won't go in depth because I wrote a review two and half years ago that sums everything up pretty well. I didn't see a way to amend that so I'm writing a new one now that we've worked with Rebecca again. We just had twins last month and hired her for a maternity shoot and newborn shoot and it just reconfirmed to me that she's awesome. The photos came out great and she had then to us in days. I also really appreciate her all inclusive pricing, just so you know exactly what to expect to pay. It's amazing how good she is with posing newborns. Plus, give her your colors and she shows up with a suitcase of materials and props in those colors to help you choose amazing layouts for your photos. So glad we hired her again! read more

Rebecca was very easy and fun to work with. She made us feel very comfortable at our maternity shoot, and the images were delivered so quickly! We are new to the area, and after consulting about what we were looking for, she offered some great options around State College with samples to choose from. We're incredibly happy with the results, and can't wait to have her back with our newborn. read more

History

Established in 2013.

I have been taking photos all my life. It wasn't until the birth of each of my children that I realized the importance photography for me in preserving time. I wanted to freeze the event to remember every detail - from the mundane to milestones. I chose to study and perfect my photography skills so that I may help other families do the exact same. I believe that it is my passion as a mother and photographer that allows me to capture the little moments "in between", - the way life is at that precise moment.

I am so happy that I stumbled upon Rebecca's website when searching photographers in the area for a newborn photo session. She offers all inclusive pricing and there are no surprises. After reviewing her work on her website we decided to reach out to her in hopes she had availability in the near future. She was able to fit us in within the week for a newborn photo session. Rebecca is very easy to contact and is quick to respond. She is professional and was very easy going and friendly to work with. Rebecca was very patient with our newborn and ensured she got the perfect shot with each change of scenery. She brought a ton of props for us to choose from. She also gave us time to regroup when our baby needed some time for feeding. We received the photos within a week and she left us with helpful instructions on how to print them and post them on social media if we wish. We love how they all turned out and she added some nice extra touches on some of them :) We will keep RFK photography in mind for any future needs. Rebecca was awesome to work with and would highly recommend! read more

First, I must mention that I never write reviews. I always read reviews, but I never take the time…read moreto write them. Actually, this is the first one I have ever written. Vicky and Jim at vjmStudios are absolutely amazing. My fiance and I are currently planning our wedding in July, and chose Vicky and Jim as our photographers. We were very nervous in choosing a photographer, as we are picky about the quality of photography and really want our photos to be beautiful. We even went in planning our wedding agreeing that we would spend the most on photography because the photos mean so much to us. To our surprise, vjmStudios is the perfect combination of high quality photography, personable photographers, and an affordable price! Currently, my fiance and I are designing our invitations. We really want our invitations to be personal and customized, so we decided to use our engagement photos in them. I haven't been the easiest bride to deal with in choosing which engagement photos to use, yet Jim responds right away when I call (or calls me back as soon as possible) and sends me different versions of the engagement photos the same day. He even takes the time to edit them differently so that they fit into the invitations and look nice! In choosing our theme, we decided that a different photograph (that was not part of our engagement package) of where the wedding will be would be nice to incorporate in our guest bags/decorations/etc. We called Vicky and Jim to see if this would be possible, expecting that it probably wouldn't be, and Jim said it would be absolutely no problem. We did pay an additional small fee for the photograph (which is completely understandable), but what really impressed me is that Jim made a special trip to the location to take the photo so that we could use it for our wedding! My fiance and I have had pretty good experiences with our vendors for the most part so far, but vjmStudios has by far impressed us the most. It is so hard to find passionate and dedicated vendors anymore. We are very excited for our wedding day, especially since Vicky and Jim will be our photographers. I am not nervous at all about their service the day of the wedding (which is pretty rare!), but actually feel more comfortable and at ease that we chose Vicky and Jim. If I remember (I have a bad memory... so my apologies if I forget), I will come back on here and give another review of vjmStudios after our wedding. I am confident that the review will be consistent with this one. If you are looking for a photographer (for a wedding, senior photos, etc.), and are nervous about which one to pick, I know exactly how you feel. I highly recommend that you choose Vicky and Jim, because if you do, you will be in good hands.
