Even late night after our photographer left he captured some INCREDIBLE candid photos without us even knowing because he knew that there wouldn't be professional ones taken!! Allen provided some of the best customer service I have ever received in answering some questions and providing support regarding a unique situation with our wedding, and I knew it go off without a hitch. I had the pleasure of speaking with our DJ, Greyson, the day before our wedding and I could already tell that he was an awesome fit for our group. Greyson kept us on schedule, worked fabulously with our guests, took care of some last minute changes AND taught us a few moves on the dance floor. The best part? He didn't lose any steam when 2/3 of our guests left well before the end of the reception. He kept the party going up until the minute we closed things down. I found DJ Short Change (Change Dem Productions) on Yelp and read through his reviews at the time - all 5 stars. I checked out his website to learn more about him, saw that he had experience doing corporate and private events so I decided to initiate contact. Despite being out of the country on vacation and on basically different time schedules initially, Short Change was quick to respond to get the conversation started and the basic questions answered. He indicated he was available for our event and immediately made us feel comfortable, assuring us that he had everything under control. Boy, did he deliver. Having given him such a short runway for planning and with everything else going on, there was bound to be some sort of hiccup that came up yet DJ Short Change navigated the evening professionally and everything was executed perfectly - if there was a hiccup, we couldn't tell. Short Change nailed the all of the "must have" songs, played great music overall and read the crowd well. He kept the party moving... so much so that I asked him to stay an additional hour as there was no way we'd be able to keep up the same vibe. Change served as party MC, keeping the energy up and directing folks to the food, Photo Booth and (of course) to the dance floor. While this cat can throw down any musical genre like a pro (you gotta check out his reggae shows), I needed 80s music running the gamut from heavy metal and punk to R&B and New Wave. Change happily took requests from my classmates leading up to the event and during the party and brought his own flavor to the party. So the one worry I didn't have on the night of the event was that the music would be totally Off. The. Hook. Change is more than a DJ. He's a one person Party Machine. Lexie & I had the ability to meet with Jesse via Zoom to go over what we needed the day of the wedding in terms of processional, recessional, first dance, and so on. Jesse was extremely professional, on time, and efficient. I was part of my best friends wedding this past weekend and our experience with Party Factory was beyond unprofessional, rude, and demeaning. My best friend placed an order for linens 6 months ago to which she was told they would be able to fulfill said order. Two weeks before the wedding (nearly 6 months since placing the order) she was contacted by Party Factory informing her they did not have the colors she wanted. Upset but understanding things happen, she came up with a solution and choose to do all white linens to which she was then told they also cannot fulfill. Again this was two weeks before her wedding after months of being told that everything was fine and she would be able to get the linens she needed/wanted. Upon the day of the set up and rehearsal (the day before the wedding) the linens were dropped off--this include disproportionate amounts of black, grey, silver, and white. On top of this, two of the white table clothes had stains and the company did not drop off the drapes for the ceremony backdrop. We called and waited to have them delivered. Further when they were delivered, there were lose threads and not all of the drapes were there. At this point we were so behind we did not have time to wait for more so we did what we could to make it work despite the mistakes made by this company. Thankfully, the venue allowed us to use some of their own and we ended up not using any of the black cloths. The night of the wedding when Party Factory came to pick them up the owner Cyrus was present and the wedding coordinator explained the stains and how we had not used the black asking for a refund. Cyrus was unbelievably rude, disrespectful and demeaning telling the wedding coordinator to "lower her expectations" and that she "obviously doesn't know the industry and has never done this before" to which she quickly corrected that she was a wedding coordinator and had been part of this industry for awhile. Further, several days after the wedding Cyrus sent an email to the bride accusing her of being a "bully" stating that "[she was] rude to [his] staff, and has unrealistic expectations of people especially after [she] hasbeen a bully to them.  [He and the staff] all love working on events and helping to make events the best product that [they] can, when [they] are working with people who are nice and share [their] goals of a great event it encourages [them] to double [their] efforts, however you [the customer] crap on people and are not the kind of customer [he] wants to work with.  Please use another company in the future." It is also worth noting that the individual he emailed (the bride) was not even present during the time of this encounter. I am in awe of the unprofessionalism and disrespect. I cannot express into words how much I would NOT recommend this company to anyone who wants an stress-free and communicative experience for their wedding or other events.

Our experience was stellar all three years. They are easy to work with and very clear about logistics and prices. They arrived with deliveries on time as promised, and picked up on schedule. Their billing is seamless and has always been correct to the letter. Their equipment is in perfect condition. And they are very nice to deal with in person, on the phone and by email. Really just a great experience overall. Highly recommended and we look forward to working with them for all of our future parties.
