I paid Reynolds to bush the piston pin hole in the rods for floating pistons. When I assembled a piston to check the deck height, I could see the piston was low on one side and high on the other. The bushing was not 90° to the pin. Rediculous that they were not checked before they went out the door. They did refund my money. This guy said it would be 600 bucks to machine my LB7 heads, drop them off to him with the tins as well to get cleaned up. When I dropped the heads off I told him I was fine with the price, told him I didnt want to spend the 1400 for new heads. Didnt hear anything from him for 4 months, I would call ask if the heads are ready he would say hes waiting on parts. Finally when I got a call from him he told me my total was $2600.00 dollars! This clown is smoking some good stuff! I told him " why in the hell would I want to pay 2600 for a used set of refurbished heads when I can get a brand new set for 1400 delivered to my front door! He kept my tins like a true jerk he is, after I told him hes the proud new owner of LB7 heads. If you own a LB7 Duramax, do yourself a favor and talk to Richard at DK engine parts, you wont be sorry! Terrible experience spent over $3500 on head work and didn't know what they were doing. They messed up my husbands heads and we had to go get them re done at another mechanic and he said they had my truck running on only 2 cylinders. We tried many times to have the owner fix the issue and always made excuses as to why he didn't have time and the mechanic that worked on my vehicle no longer works for his shop blah blah blah. Brought it to the BBB and we will be taking them to small claims to get our money back. Never go there we have no idea how he has been in business for so long screwing people over. read more
