Garden & Grain - Wedding Reception Dance Floor (right outside of the grain house)

Kaley, the bartender worked well with all our guests, including the kids and non-alcohol drinkers. They loved her mocktails! Definitely recommend this venue!

Where do I even begin?…read more We had our wedding at Garden & Grain this weekend and it was absolutely flawless. I have to start with the most important parts of our day which were Cara & Jadyn, our event coordinators and Nick & Jesse, our bartenders. Cara and Jadyn were literal earth-movers and magic makers. These two helped us get everything decorated and torn down with absolute ease (and we had an awful lot of decor we brought in.) By the time we moved into the ceremony, Jadyn was everywhere ensuring we started when we were ready, the guests were ready for us to enter, and just made us feel so at ease. We heard from so many guests that they didn't even realize the chairs got moved from the garden into the grainhouse between because it was so fast and flawlessly executed. These folks were so stealthy bringing 75 chairs between different spaces. Bravo. Our caterer was just arriving as we were about the walk the aisle. We had no idea the chaos that was ensuing behind the scenes that Jadyn and the team worked out as quickly as possible and without our guests even recognizing there was a delay in the start time of the food service. Obviously catering is a huge part of the day, and it would have been so stressful had we realized they were 30+ minutes behind. The execution of our wedding could not have happened flat out without these two wonderful people. We are so grateful for you both, Cara and Jadyn. You deserve all the praise in the world and are absolutely amazing event coordinators. Oh, and Jadyn, thanks for never letting us have a drink less than half full - your impeccable attention to detail is what every event coordinator should strive for. Now, the other critical aspect to a wedding is bar service. Nick and Jesse had those drinks flowing non stop all night. There was never a guest waiting in line or without a drink from before the ceremony to last moments. Our guests were complimenting all night on how amazing the bar service was. We are a family with one side from New Orleans, we know how to party and going into it with 2 bartenders for 75 people who know how to have a good time was an anxiety for us, but there was not a single mishap in the bar service and we couldn't have asked for a better experience for our guests or us. Not to mention, every time I looked at Nick or Jesse, they were both smiling and so happy to be there with us - it meant a lot to feel like your vendors were a part of your wedding. The space lent itself so naturally to our ceremony and reception. It was beautiful, cozy, clean, and just 100% our vibe. Our guests also complimented all night on what a cool venue we had. If you're thinking about booking an event, particularly a wedding here, don't hesitate. There's not a dang thing I would change about Garden & Grain, Perfect Plain and the people they had assisting us and our guests throughout the event. Being able to look back and see how smoothly things ran is every Bride's dream, and without a doubt you will have the same experience that we did here. Thank you G & G/Perfect Plain/Perennial Hospitality for the amazing experience on our wedding date. You have no idea what this meant to us. It means even more to feel that you guys actually enjoyed being there with us. Pat yourselves on the back and know that you are shining examples of what a wedding venue is supposed to operate like. Cheers to you guys, thank you once again for everything!

Room was not clean, requested a new one, but they didn't have one available for the size of our party. The breakfast was not a real breakfast, lacking of hot water for your bag oatmeal, very limited choices of bread or cereal, no fruit and the breakfast sandwich were sad looking. Situated downtown Pensacola, it's near awesome restaurants, walking distance to everything. Now our front desk working miracle person, Alexia, was the only person in the building, she personally cleaned our room and made us her number 1 priority, like she didn't have anything else going on. For that reason, I really don't care about the breakfast or our room was not cleaned, I'll definitely stay here again, just because Alexis saved the day

The New World Inn has a fantastic location near most things in the Downtown area which has a lot of great spaces and places. The New World Inn was originally built as a box factory. The building was restored and remodeled in 1983 to include banquet and events spaces along with 16 hotel rooms with 8 rooms on the ground floor and 8 rooms on the second level. Due to the history of the building there is only a staircase and no elevator has been added to this property. Renovations to the property continued in 2007 with the addition of the 600 South Italian Eatery & Wine Bar which is currently listed as temporarily closed . In 2008 the New Orleans inspired courtyard was updated to a more functional space for outdoor dining and celebrations. In 2016 Skopelos restaurant was added to the location but sadly that restaurant closed in 2021 after 62 years due to damage from Hurricane Sally and the Pandemic. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and I would certainly stay here again. My video review of The New World Inn is here: https://youtu.be/4XP8jaq933U

Wedding Count: 290 Bridal Party Count: 24 total + 2 junior + 3 flower/ring bearer Wedding Date: 08/16/25 Supposey the Venue: Incredible. I wanted something I could do everything at one place...Getting ready, Photos (private areas for first looks, big enough for full bridal party, etc.), Ceremony, Cocktail, and Reception and this fit everyone beautifully. With the weather being unpredictable, I had a hard time finding a venue where I actually liked the inside option, and this one would have been just as beautiful so I wasn't stressed at all about weather. Spaces: The bridal suite is second to none with my huge bridal party (12 people + moms/aunts/etc. + hair/makeup staff) and I looked all around the southeast. The private garden areas were perfect for first looks with my husband and dad. The Ceremony was dreamy with the greenery all around and the florals the Supposey has. It's as close to a turn key as you can get when it comes to decor without sacrificing any class. I'm not naturally someone who knows what I want in that regard so it was nice to be able to work with Chloe and the Florist to find things I liked to complement the already beautiful space rather than starting from scratch. Staff: I can't say enough good things about Chloe (her and her hubby are the owners) and neither could my family or friends. Everyone was truly blown away. Because of her relationships, her attention to detail, her knowledge of the industry and personal refined taste, I didn't have to worry about anything. She made all the recommendations for the venders that were top notch and with her facilitation, the teams we hired were nothing short of incredible. She always immediately responded to texts or calls, whether it was a quick questions or recommendation needed. Because of her and her team, I was able to sit back and enjoy each moment with my favorite people. Looking back, you truly can't put a price on the peace she gave me leading up to and on the day of. We just knew she would handle it all with grace, representing us so well with all of our guests. I am a walking 27 dresses and I've never been in a wedding that felt as organized and enjoyable the morning of through to the end, as she made mine feel. She and her team made our reality more than we could have dreamt up ourselves and we will forever be grateful!
