I don't usually shop at Rewe but this location as a breath of fresh air. The selection is amazing. Everything is so clean. It could be because I came in the last hour before closing, but nevertheless, the selection seemed limitless. One thing I was looking for was cold, bottled water and drinks. These are up front after the produce. The rest of the store doesn't have these immediate, cold sections, so don't miss out as you enter the store. The highlight of my visit is the service at checkout. These ladies are unusually friendly. The customer service was simply excellent. I cannot recommend a visit to the Geisa Rewe in the off hours more. read more

What is not to love about German grocery stores next to train stations? It is clean and…read morecomfortable. Set up very much like any American grocery store but...clean and comfortable and a noticeable lack of huge carts filled to the brim pushed by unruly moms screaming at their unruly kids. Everything you would need is covered and there is a bakery at the entrance with some good bienenstich pastries and a separate drink market for all your cheap and quality beer needs. A great selection, by the way, of local Bamberg suds at great, great prices.
