REWE stores are decent grocery and everything else store in Germany. You can get everything you need including hot food, cold stuff, deli meats and fish, fresh breads, beer, wine, and liquor at great prices and service. I always stock up when I arrive Germany so I have plenty of all the stuff I like in the mini fridge and don't spend 3x for it every night in restaurants. read more

This is a nice Aldi. It located next to the Dresdner Striezelmarkt inside of a mall. During the…read moreholidays, Christmas displays are put up in the courtyard between the mall and a cathedral. This Aldi is well stocked and has a very nice bakery section. Of course, the prices are nice and the quality is excellent. They close promptly at 8 pm

Love the REWE Markets. Was pleasantly surprised to find they have gas station and markets too…read more Unfortunately, it is just as good as the Shell stations. But since this is just a few blocks from my hotel and 25 hours, figured why not since we arrived late to Munich from Dresden. And they have sandwiches, big German pretzels, as well as great beer AND liquor. What else do you want?
