I found this rehearsal studio through an Instagram ad a few days ago in late September 2024. I…read morecalled about rates and I was told to book through the website. I went on the booking platform and reviewed the rehearsal room options. Room E for the "solo drummer" option came out to a total of $4/hr. I booked several sessions from the last week of September up until Oct 1st 2024. Not once was it brought to my attention before, during or even after sessions until Oct 1st when upon finishing up and getting ready to leave I was approached confrontationally by an agitated staff member who said that I needed to pay up a difference in balance because the room actually cost a different price. I said I paid the advertised rate on the website, it was charged to my card and I have the receipts to prove it. A second staff member was there witnessing the interaction and seemed more understanding about the situation. I ultimately said that unless it was expressed via written or electronic form beforehand I am not liable for mistakes on their booking platform. Legally the service had already been paid for, rendered and concluded. The confrontational staff member acquiesced and told the other co-worker that he was told by someone to get payment. The method of approach was effectively coercion and I felt the attempt to intimidate via body language and verbage. I left and about 15 minutes later I received an email from the owner Brent effectively and directly telling me to look for another studio and that any future bookings would get canceled and refunded. You can read it below. I replied with two follow up emails to no avail and still haven't received a response.

After dealing with rude goons at Audio Rents, this company was a breath of fresh air…read more Needed to rent some audio equipment for an event. Needed for Saturday but was able to pick up Friday afternoon and return Sunday afternoon and got a one day rate. Got a pair of speakers, speaker stands, a mini mixer, wireless mic set, and all necessary cables for a very reasonable price, and wound up paying a little less than anticipated. Equipment is a bit on the older side and a little beat up (scratches, basic wear and tear) but everything worked perfectly and sounded great which matters way more than cosmetics. I'm not an audio whiz so Brent, who was away when I arrived, rushed back and showed me how to hook everything up properly so I didn't have any issues at the event. Able to park in the back or alley to load up - staff helped me with the heavy equipment too. If you need a short term rental, I definitely recommend Brent's studio.

The supreme room is the one I usually use and I highly recommend it for mixing and tight vocal tracking. Being that the Supreme room is 100% completely sound calibrated, monitoring my mixes there are always fail proof in finding what adjustments need to be made to said project. Dennis operates his business very professionally and, fun fact, he is also an excellent producer in the EDM/House realm. Very impressed also with how professional and kind Dennis's booking staff are. The woman I spoke with was super helpful and responsive as well as extremely flexible in terms of time-slot availability. She also made me feel confident about booking at Opus Recording Studio because she was able to swiftly and efficiently work out payment and deposit details that were straightforward, reasonable and made a lot of sense. Great business to invest in for all of your music production and recording needs! -Benjamin

The young receptionist brought me a Cafe Americana during the editing while the engineer massaged my other foot. The spot was finalized and we all laughed at the humor of it. When I walked out the valet had washed and waxed by Volvo even shampooing the seats. The spot went on to win three Clios and the client "Lou's Delicatessen and Ladies Shoe Emporium" put the gold award on a shelf behind the cash register which had three 8 by 10 autograph photos. From winning Insomniac's discovery project to at some of world's top clubs, Perfetto is an exceptional talent. I've been working on music production with Perfetto since my great friend and colleague, DJ Amanda Darling introduced me to him in 2014. Amanda and I worked with Perfetto on some dance tracks, some of which we performed in 2016 at Ultra Music Festival Korea. Since that time, Perfetto and I have worked on numerous other tracks for my releases including an upcoming EP release for my band, The Sonic Universe. You really cannot find a harder working producer who is also extremely good at what he does. Perfetto has an ear for many musical styles and to my benefit he is attuned to new popular music, so my EP sounds super fresh and current. Perfetto prides himself on being ahead of the technology curve. He ALWAYS has the newest equipment! He is constantly reviewing his equipment and deciding what is outdated (1 year old!) and he will sell it and upgrade to the newest. This is really important in music production these days. Having the latest and most robust Mac to support all his intensive plugins (including all the amazing UA plugins) is essential in having your large sessions run smoothly. In addition to staying current on equipment, Perfetto is reading and learning new production techniques on a daily basis. He hangs around top producers and writers in the industry and is either giving them hot tips or he is receiving them and learning the next best recording technique. Whatever style of music you want to record and produce, you would be blessed to work with Perfetto. He is a really genuine and nice person to work with. He truly cares about the music and works very efficiently. You can record live drum set, percussion, instruments, and vocals on great mics (Neumann) and have them running through Avedis preamps. Perfetto also has some great outboard gear to give your tracks that warm and huge analogue feel. His studio is so quiet too. Relax on one of the couches or sit next to Perfetto while you create some magi
