Today I had an appointment with Courtney. I explained the style and length I wanted before she started cutting, but it pretty quickly became obvious she was going shorter than what I asked for. I mentioned that it was getting too short, and instead of adjusting or talking it through, she responded by saying she's been doing hair for 20 years and knows what she's doing. After that the whole vibe felt uncomfortable. It felt dismissive, and she kept cutting it shorter even after I said something. I ended up leaving with a haircut that's a lot shorter than what I asked for. I do want to say this hasn't been my experience with the salon overall. I've been coming here for years and have liked the other stylists I've had. This didn't feel like a company issue, more just how this particular appointment was handled.
