Bad review for Dr. Nocerino…read more I started coming to this office when Dr. Murphy owned the place when I was a child. After he retired, Dr. Nocerino took over and I didn't really have the same pleasant experiences I had previously. The atmosphere was just weird. I also had a minor cavity on the side of my tooth several years ago and had that filled by Dr. Nocerino. I went back to NY and months later it fell off...I went back to CT to have it fixed and it was fine...although...a couple years later I decided to switch to a NY based dentist as I was no longer living with my parents or under their insurance plan. I had an x ray the other week and they said my previous dentist (Dr. Nocerino) had accidentally drilled into my neighboring tooth that was completely fine...and I had to get my filling re-done on the side of my tooth because it wasn't done properly and was coming off. So years later this comes back to me and bites me in the butt and I'm obviously not happy...I had to pay $420 for this mistake...I now go to an all female staff dentist and they're so efficient and have the latest technology. On top of my experience, apparently this office has a lot of patients and my family makes an appointment waaaay in advance and the front desk always says "call morning of your appointment to make sure it's still ok to come in". They call and their appointments are cancelled. How fishy....When people make appointments, honor them....what is this selective favoritism whatever? What is this based on? Really sketchy.

Extremely professional and knowledgeable team with great expertise. The care that my mother received, from the moment we walked in, was exceptional. We appreciated that Dr. Spaulding took her time to explain everything she noticed from the x-rays to hands-on demonstrations, explained possible action plans to support the best dental health. I loved the panoramic x-ray and being able to see everything so clearly from a full mouth perspective! The hygienist was great and very careful, stopping to check if my mom was doing ok regularly throughout the cleaning. My mom is typically very sensitive and she felt very comfortable and at ease. The space itself is very clean, welcoming, and warm. It looks like you are driving to a home but there's a small parking lot with a path leading you to the front office door. The waiting area was very relaxing with great music and comfortable seating. The staff was inviting and helpful! When walking into the exam spaces, it's bright and airy with high ceilings and super clean (huge points for how tidy and sanitary everything was!). I'm so grateful to have found McClean Smiles and will be booking my own appointment soon after the utmost care my mother received. Thank you to the whole team!

The woman who worked the front desk was extremely friendly and very sweet. The young woman who worked on my teeth was very gentle, very very knowledgeable and did a good job.
