Then when my husband picked up the taxes, from a secretary or assistant, we were told we only owed a couple hundred over the $4000 already paid. To our dismay, nothing was said about the over $2500 also owed. We got a real nice surprise in the mail wanting over $3000 more. We tried to reach out for over a week with no luck. We received "Notice to Seize Property" letters. All she said was, "if you would have gone through your return you would have seen it." Then she blamed the worker.
