I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this place. Not only is it a TRUE vintage shop -…read morewith real awesome collectables and not just a bunch of junk thrown around - but the owner is WONDERFUL. She is incredibly stylish and sweet and warm. When you walk in, it's not just shopping - it's therapy. If you want to be cheered up, feel welcomed, find something unique and totally in your price range, and walk out feeling better than you did when you arrived - then definitely come here and visit Becky :) In fact I don't even know why I'm raving about this place because it just means you might go and buy something that I've been eyeing :) But there are always some surprises waiting so be sure to visit and take a look!!

Fortunately, it's great fun and British expat owner Rebecca is a delight who has a great eye. My friend and I spent a pleasant time browsing, buying, and chatting. Rebecca is lovely and I can't wait to go back to Prague to visit again!

I have been here before but never bought anything until today. Today this store had all of their…read moreclothes, shoes, bags, and coats 50% off, and I found some really good deals here. A lot of the coats were good- heavy even and going from 200 crowns. Mostly all their clothes were a brand of some sort, I got a dress, and two nice sweaters for 300 crowns. Now that is a deal. I would probably not come in here normally, but with the sale time I would say it was a great deal and worth stopping in for. They also had nice sneakers and boots half off, which I would have bought had I not been leaving Prague with no room in my suitcase. Overall! Staff was friendly and helpful, place was well organized (by color too!) but without a sale I would just wait....

This store has a lot of great qualities, one being its large. This means great selection for women,…read moremen as well as kids, shoes, bags, comforters, you name it. The store is extremely close to the flora metro/tram stop (literally across the street form the mall on the corner) which I love since its less walking to find it. It is also very well lit inside, well organized and always has some type of sales bins towards the front in case you are on a super low budget. This place is already pretty cheap though so not sure how poor you would have to be... Their pricing is the variable here. They weigh all your items that are priced by pound, so the lighter your items are, the cheaper of a deal you usually get. If you want jeans or a jacket you can still sometimes find good deals here if its made of a lighter material. You can also wait as they weigh your items to decide if you think they are worth the price, if not you can always say ne. Last time I went here I got two dresses for 80 czk and they were both brand name, Jen calls that a steal. I will most likely go back here due to the nice staff and large selection.

Prague Thrift is small, but things are tucked in everywhere. I ended up getting a like new Zella athletic top, women's in-line skates, helmet and wrist guards. The employee went out of his way to help me examine the condition of skates ( they were excellent) and even suggested places to use them. There was the feeling that expats donated their things here when they left Prague. Some nice small kitchen appliances, English language guidebooks, novels, and kids books. Random sports equipment like a rugby ball, rackets, and even a folding exercise bike. There was a nice room dedicated to children's things. Men's and women's clothing was organized well. There were lots of shoes, purses, bags, some luggage too. It got a little busy on Saturday in the hour before closing time. There is a high demand fitting room there as well. Overall, I am very happy to have made my way over using the #16 tram. I could see why so many customers felt like regulars.

Granted, if you put this shop in most big cities around the world, it would be "just another vintage store." However, Prague is not like most big cities when it comes to vintage shopping. Options here are few and far between, and Fifty-Fifty clearly leads the pack in quality and overall curation of the pieces available. Ya, it's small, and ya, you might not find something every time, but Fifty-Fifty is unrivaled in my book as the best vintage shop in this city. Also-- the lady is super nice and gets most of her stuff from Germany... so you don't have to. And... upstairs... MEN'S VINTAGE ! ! !

I got a pair of really nice name brand boots here last week for 150 crowns. You just can't beat that. One of my personal favorites and I go about once a month during sale times :-)
