Trying to send anything back can be a nightmare.... Honestly La z boy did a terrific job... I researched other options and even went to several other furniture stores.... But ended up back here... La z boy will match other retailers prices.... La Z Boy warranty is above any of the others and their delivery fee is half what some of them are charging... Great Job!.....Delivery guys we're top notch.... They communicated with me a few times before delivery.... Took their shoes off before walking on my carpet without me asking....showed me how to remove backs to move if needed.... I would recommend this furniture store location and the quality of the furniture

I decided to spend some money for a lounge chair from what I thought was a good, reputable company…read more I went to the San Bernardino showroom and requested a solid chair. I'm 6'4" 350 pounds and explained to the sales rep that I wanted a chair that will last. Even though I was very careful not to plop down in the chair, it collapsed on itself within 8 months and is now unusable. I called to start a warranty claim process back in April. They explained that they would have to mail the parts to me and that it would take 1-2 months. After 2 months, I called and they said that the parts were on backorder for another month. I requested to speak to a supervisor and CSR told me that one would call me back, which never happened. A month later I called again and the part still hadn't shipped. I again requested to speak to a supervisor and was told that one would call me back. I received a voicemail a week later from an "escalations representative" to tell me that the parts would arrive by the end of the week. She didn't leave a phone number for me to call back. The parts came today and I immediately called to schedule an install. The representative said I had to pay for the labor because the warranty was up. I had to explain to her that I had called well before my warranty was up. I requested to have an install appointment on a Weekend or Monday or Thursday. Rep told me that they only have Fridays available for the next two months. I decided to take a day off work rather than wait another two months. I have to walk by this hump of garbage every single day. It just sits in my living room, reminding me of how much Lazboy must hate me. It seems like they don't want return business at all. It just boggles my mind.

So we though we'd shop ahead of time and see what was out there, with no intention to buy that day. What an amazing experience! Our salesperson, Jade was friendly, patient, and listened to our likes & dislikes after sitting in many sofas. She put all out input together after 10 sofas and suggested the "Dorian". It was perfect! The most comfortable sofa ever! She worked with us with a financing plan that was too good to refuse. It made no difference if we bought that day or in 3 months when we planned. She quoted us approximately 6 weeks for them to build our sofas and they were delivered in 4 weeks! The whole process was so pleasant, and unpressured, unlike Mathis Bros. No gimmicks, no having to buy membership to get a better price, none of that. We are so happy with our sofas and our experience!

The couch is just okay, not great, but the recliner chair is cheaply made, wabbly and just poor quality. I went to La-Z-Boy thinking I would get better quality than Living Spaces, but I was wrong. I will not purchase from them again. The sales staff were very accommodating, it's the quality I'm disappointed with. This purchase was a a few years ago, but I felt it was important to let others know about their poor quality, especially for the price.

A furniture-as-art statement? After three visits from a repair technician, the company finally agreed to replace it. The replacement arrived a few days ago and, lo and behold, the drawers didn't work! Same problem. Fortunately, the delivery guys managed to repair them. Great, right? Nope. Moments after they left, the lift-top portion of the table started sticking on one side. So. Here we go again. I called and made an appointment to have a technician take a look at it next week. If only the story ended there. A minute after making the appointment I tried to lift the top again, and now... it doesn't budge! Not an inch. So I have a lift-top coffee table that's basically....a regular ol' coffee table. I'll certainly post an update. P.S. Just to be clear, the sofa bed I purchased (with matching chair) is easily the world's most comfortable sofa bed on earth when it comes to actually sleeping on it, thanks to the upgraded mattress I got with it. It's fantastic!! And my original praise for the sales rep and my shopping experience still stands.

From there, we were bounced between the store, Comfort Care, and the service department with nobody taking ownership or providing real help. Multiple service appointments were scheduled and then repeatedly rescheduled, sometimes at the last minute. After weeks of waiting, the technician finally arrived nearly FOUR HOURS EARLY from the confirmed appointment time, barely inspected the loveseat, took no measurements or photos, acknowledged the squeaking, promised a "favorable report," and said we'd hear back within 24-48 hours. We never heard back. A follow-up message was later left for the store manager, and once again there was absolutely no response. At this point, it feels like the strategy is simply to ignore customers until they give up. The product quality is disappointing, but the customer service is even worse. My mother-in-law spent a significant amount of money on furniture she hoped would help her relax comfortably despite her back pain, and instead she has been stuck with a defective loveseat and months of unnecessary stress. Now we are left pursuing BBB complaints, credit card disputes, and public reviews just to get basic attention from this company and warn others. Avoid La-Z-Boy if you expect quality furniture, accountability, or customer support that actually follows through!!!

I just received my couch that I paid over $8500 for.I waited 8 weeks for this to be custom made…read more It was delivered and when unpacked I noticed scuff marks that the delivery person tried to get out. Needless to say I felt that it should have never been delivered without being inspected. The delivery person called the warehouse to report this and I was told I could refuse this or they could send out a customer service to try to inspect this. I Also purchased an area rug and a non-slip pad. The under pad was much bigger than the area rug. Again I was told that the sales person from the San Marcos store would come out and trim this since it was so much larger. Sending it back didn't seem like the right thing to do since I had already disposed of my old couch and area rug. It might mean I would have to wait another 8 weeks and I would be without a living room furniture. This had been paid in full. A person by the name of Ramon from the Comfort Care unit said I had 3 days to have it returned but I would have to call the San Marcos store and talk with the manager...I mentioned perhaps a monetary compensation would be acceptable. Ramon said he would call the manager of the store and get back with me. Nothing happened. I did try toI waited to hear the next day and when I didn't hear anything I called to speak with Ramon who was not available and spoke with another representative by the name of Ismail who said he would do everything to see what he could do. Again nothing so I call and asked to speak to the manager of the San Marcos store. I was told he was on a call and would call me back. I also found out that the person who was the manager of the store at the time I bought the unit was no longer there and that there was transition with a new manager. I waited until 5 tonight and still no response. I should also mention that the salesperson Kayla never mentioned that the remote for the recliner and the lounge portion of the unit needed to be plugged in. I was surprised that it was not a wireless connection. The delivery people told that a battery pack could have been included which would make it wireless. The unit needs to be plugged in and I have no outlet nearby that would work with this. I had purchased other furniture from La-Z-Boy in the past which is why I decided I wanted to get my new couch thru them. I'm very disappointed in the lack of customer service and the poor quality of the unit. I would never buy from La-Z-Boy again, At this point I am going to be filing a dispute with my credit card company,

The reps are knowledgeable and accommodating. Got good experience buying from this location.

Do you want to spend thousands of dollars on furniture that is just junk, I have the place for you…read more There is a reason Lazy Boy has been sued, there is a reason other cheaper stores are now selling what is supposed to be high end furniture. Lazy Boy is nothing like it was a decade ago. Their furniture and I mean all of it is the worst. It is made without care and has fun breaking and falling apart. Sadly, we got sucked into them. DON'T. The salespeople claim they know so much. They don't. They make promises with no intention of keeping them. I promise you that you can get get the cheapest recliner at Wal Mart and it will be better than the expensive junk I have now. And their great sales, ya, they have them all the time and then when you demand a percentage taken off because of the horror you are put through you will hear, well we can't, it was the this or that sale. We bought a reclining sofa, a reclining rocking chair and a reclining love seat (all custom orders). We paid top dollar for this junk. We were forced to wait months and months for anything to be delivered and when it was the sofa had rips, the love seat had tears and it all had to go back to be remade. They actually delivered that. The recliner rocker was okay for about a month and then just started to sink. Call Lazy Boy, ya, they won't call you back.....ever. They don't care at all. Second delivery, we are now close to 6 months later and the sofa was acceptable and the love seat recliner again was torn, had rippled seams and it did not work. Fun. What we really loved was watching one delivery guy take out our rocking recliner and toss it outside. He said he thought he was really old. Now it was less than 3 months old. He put it back and broke the reclining function. So, now that has to be repaired--3 weeks later and it has never been 100% since. After that mess a third delivery is made of the broken, messed up love seat that reclines. I took possession. Within 3 weeks it started to sink in the back and bottom where I sit. Now this cost thousands. I now have to use a pillow to sit on it or it hurts. That remote is working--yay for them. The sofa came with the wrong pull ups and has these horrid wires to get a seat to recline. We don't use it. Ever. And again, you call and call and they will never get back to you once you have their junk. My last recliner chair was, in fact, from Wal Mart. I wish I had that back. Lazy Boy took all our money and there is no lumbar support at all. Don't be fooled. We were ripped off over 4K for sofa that is not what we ordered, 4K for a recliner and and another over 5K for the love seat that is unusable without pillows to support you and it looks awful with the sinking in that one can't miss when they come in my door. Now, this does not include, tax, delivery and waiting for month up month. Next time I am going to just get Wal Mart. Cheap, but it works for years and you get what you pay for. At Lazy Boy you will just be forever mad. Stay away from them. They are not high end, they are just super expensive and all the lies they tell. What a fool we were. Don't be use. Don't even look. Their salespeople lie.
