I didn't really know what to expect walking into Shabana's office (her space by the way is so tranquil and peaceful). Was this reiki thing really going to work? My definition of "work" meant feeling a sense of peace and relaxation. Once the session was over I can only compare what I felt as if I had had a two-hour massage. I felt glorious. Shabana is magical! I have to say I was skeptical about Reiki at first, but there was no denying the results. Very quickly into the session I felt extremely calm and relaxed, the heat radiating off of Shabana's hands felt so soothing. A little over a week ago I felt I needed something..anything to help me with the sadness I was feeling. These toxic feelings were so strong. It was a Saturday evening and I decided to look up Reiki. I came across Shabana's website and felt an immediate need to contact her. Previous to her session, I was suffering from severe anxiety and reoccurring panic attacks that were getting worse by the day and I didn't know why. I was also very consumed in sadness and felt like I was in a black hole of negativity. I knew I needed guidance, and my intuition was telling me to trust her with helping me. During our session, we uncovered childhood trauma and emotional/mental abuse from a past relationship that was the cause of my anxiety. This internal pain was leading to external problems in my life and I didn't realize that. On top of the reiki, she was able to get messages from spirit that were brought to her in order to heal my pain. By the end of the session, my anxiety was relieved completely, including the migraine I came in with, and I finally feel like myself again.
