I met Pastors Bryan and Caz just a few months ago at a community interest meeting. It was an answer to my prayer about belonging to a loving community, just as Jesus intended. I immediately fell in love with them and their vision of what Jesus was FOR--which is radical kindness and taking care of each other.
Since that first meeting, when they only had a vision, Restore Church had the first full service on March 14th, and is growing into a full-time church.
It is a brand-new church plant, so it is still growing, but the people I've met are some of the most loving and kind individuals I've ever known. The atmosphere is very casual, making it easy for anyone to feel at home. The people are very diverse or all colors and backgrounds.
There is also a kids ministry - everyone is background checked, and there is a nice playground for the kids, in addition to bible lessons and songs.
The music is not too loud - they are modern worship songs, beautifully sung by the worship leader. Sometimes she is solo with an acoustic guitar, and other times there is a full band. The vibe is definitely cozy and friendly.
If you're looking for a place where you can truly belong and experience radical kindness, I highly recommend coming to Restore at Legacy Academy in Chino at 10AM. read more
