It wasn't busy so we took a seat outside. The server was friendly and greeted us right away. We stared off with some of the House white wine. Then we browsed the menu. They offer antipasto, salad, pasta, pizza and calzones here. Prices are very reasonable, all under 7-8€. We were in the pasta mood. I spotted a dish called pasta e sole mio and it sounded absolutely fantastic. Penne pasta with cream sauce, spinach, garlic, walnuts and Parmesan. I HAD to have it. My date tried the pasta with olive oil and tomatoes. Here comes the important part: my food was AMAZING!! I never expected to have some of the best Italian food of my life in a small German town, but I did!! Every bite was a heavenly combination of flavors, truly spectacular. I wish I could come here again, but since I can't I will definitely try to recreate this dish at home. If you are anywhere near Veranda, do yourself a favor and come here.
