The desserts all looked good, but I had the puffed pastry with ice cream and hot chocolate. Very decadent. As a finale, they bring you a small piece of spiced cake and a local dessert wine. Delicious. Today, I tried the queso fresco with anchovy for my app and had the grilled calamari as my second. It was really good. Tasty and tender. The service here is good and everyone was helpful despite my dreadful Spanish. The patio is lovely with all mature trees providing shade. I would totally recoomend this place!!!

The starters were ok but in no way brilliant or even well presented. The main courses ...the first time ever we both stopped after 2 bites and actually left. It was Dreadful and there was no redeeming that. When talking to management they showed clearly that they didn't care and happily gave us the full bill without as much as a question or apology. Anyway, we found this place to be good value, excellent service, very clean and with a good atmosphere. Food is fairly varied, good pizzas through to more substantial meals and I saw some fairly dazzling desserts go by. Excellent also for people watching, not just on the pavement outside, but all those Spaniards who are having three course meals and bottles of wine on their lunch break. No wonder it's the home of the siesta.
