On our first night in St Remy we were having a hard time deciding where to go for dinner because there were so many options on the main drag, but this place's low-key vibe and menu options drew us in. It had an interesting quirky vibe inside, with vintage posters and a kind of shabby-chic look. Our server was a very friendly young woman who made us feel right at home. I started off with some foie gras served with ruby-red caramelized onions with peppercorns--it was unusual and delicious! For my main course I decided on their Madras-style beef curry, which had an unexpected appearance when I first got it. I was expecting it to be covered in a more typical curry-like sauce, but it just looked like a simple beef stew on a bed of rice. The flavor, however, was fully redolent of curry and was quite delicious. We all enjoyed our meals and had a lovely, leisurely time. If you're in the mood for a low-key dinner with friends, this is a good option.
