This is a very traditional yet never old place to have dinner in Trier. I've been here two times,…read moreoverall, and the Ambiance as well as the food were great. If you can and the weather allows it, dine in their outdoor area: it's lovely, has separated areas and is also protected from the neighbouring streets.
Service was fun, as our waitress had a very strong personality, which we weren't used to but loved! She was very efficient and made sure we were always doing fine.
Cuisine consists of different options: some more traditional plates (like schnitzel, potatoes and wurstel) but also some variation (fish, fish soup, octopus, pasta...).
Overall the plates were delicious.
One thing we all noticed, and that perhaps is of great value to know for customers, is that their steaks tend to be well done, even the ones they consider to be rare or, as they say "Englisch". The steak in itself tasted really good, but definitely not rare (I don't have a picture).
