In early July, the Pfifferling (chanterelle) season just started and convinced me to get dinner although we ate too much cake in the afternoon. Unless you are aiming for the 300 pound weight class, an appetizer (Vorspeise) will be plenty. First, dinner inside was good and service was incredibly friendly. Then, a couple of days later, we returned for brunch. Although there is no true brunch menu, the appetizer plates made for a great outdoors brunch. In summary, food is very good, but not gourmet class, but service is 5-star friendly.

Though the atmosphere is nice and the food is good the portions are minuscule for the price even before considering the exchange rate. I can't say anything bad about this place and don't want to but sadly it failed to impress me enough to earn a compliment. There are many other locations a short walk from this restaurant I would suggest trying first, save the steak for another night!
