It would not be the first time, that someone just goes for a bread to the (attached) bakery and stays for one or two beers in Brauhof. Their beer is brewed in the cellar of the Brauhof where you can view the brewery through a glass wall. The beer is very good an you can have it in different kinds, wheat beer, crysal beer (filtered) and naturally cloudy. Untypical for Austria is, that you get the beer in glasses of 0.4 litres (usually 0.5). You can also get a beer pass there, where you get for 10 beers one for free. It not just pays off, if you are there more often, because the beer is really good! On the beer pass you can write you birth date and your addres and you get a letter with a coupon for a beer every year. Nice idea! Everyone, who visits Wolfsberg, should plan to come to the Brauhof at least once. The meal is also very good, big serving an you also get prezels with the beer, if you wish. Prices are moderate. Furthermore there is a lot of space there, even for your own parties. There are different smaller an bigger rooms, so you can decide, if you wish to stay by yourself or take part in the society. Their English menu is well written and clearly explained the foods I could order. The prices are well within my college student budget for a nice treat here in Graz. I was a bit peckish prior to arriving, so I was ready to chow down. With that, I know some places are quite slow with service, testing patrons' patience. This isn't the case here.
