The drinks are a bit mediocre, though. They seem to be more of an afterthought. Staff in general are polite. One barman, however, was really rude. We asked if he could make a White Russian (during the day, I would never ask if it were super busy). He then acted like we'd shot his dog. After we finished our drinks and paid, he actually called us over and started scolding us like naughty children. He said we could only order the drinks on the menu. That's fair enough but the way he did it was incredibly patronizing and rude. We were only asking a question. Don't think he works there anymore, thank God. Other than that, one of my favorite bars in Bonn.

This place not only serves pastries from savory to sweets, but fresh sandwiches and wonderfully authentic German bread! 2.) Prices are fantastic! We got a Peppermint tea in my Tervis, lemon sponge cake that was lightly sweetened to combat sweet meringue, a fresh salamini sandwich and a knotted bread stick with stuffed pieces of meat that was all well-priced. For example, I could've gotten a latte for $2.65 Euros vs. $6 lavender latte from US. 4.) Free Wifi 5.) Well, okay, I shouldn't be too hard on them because they are also a bakery, and there are certainly lots of those in Germany, and as such the coffee tends to come second. However, not being a huge fan of baked goods, I tend to go to places for the coffee (when I can handle coffee that is), and for some reason I randomly picked this place - probably because I was having a bit of difficulty actually finding another place in Bonn that sold coffee.
