Bit weird I know and it's not like I can just fly over there for food... (unfortunately!) When I was living in Switzerland this place was an all time favourite. I've had a lot of Mexican throughout my life time (yet to go to Mexico...) and this place by far has the best Mexican I've tasted to date. Hands down. I literally lived out of this restaurant whenever we were on a ski holiday... helped it was right next/ in the hotel we were staying. The food is great - always of a high standard no matter when you go and the staff are really helpful and friendly. It's an intimate restaurant and parts had fairly dim lighting (from when I was last there and that was a while ago) but it made for a nice atmosphere especially when the weather is incredibly cold outside. They welcome kids and go above and beyond their expected call of duty by offering colouring books, pencils etc. They're really just so lovely. Arosa is very well known for its "children friendly slopes." There are a lot of families that go there over Winter break/ during ski season. They have a very well organised skischule for all levels (even adults). The instructors are really nice and not necessarily from Switzerland but they speak fluent Haute Deutsch as often English as well. It's a great place to go skiing. Arosa is smaller than some with most slopes being of average difficulty but the atmosphere is lovely. There are quite a few nice restaurants around for such a small town. It's also easy to access if you don't have a car - you can get to Arosa by train and then either walk around or catch the free shuttle bus (if you've got a ski pass, otherwise I think you have to pay). If you're heading to Arosa to hit up the slopes, make sure you pop into the Cuculouche for dinner one time!!! It won't disappoint :) !

Really, the entire place is a winter wonderland (in the winter... obviously). We parked our car and made our way to the restaurant. Some people passed us with sleds about to sled down the hill... how adorable is that? so cool. Anyway. When we entered we were greeted by a man in the very Swiss blue edelweiss shirt. The fondu comes with bread, so if you want other sides such as pickles or apples you'll have to order them. We were surrounded by beautiful and sweet little chalet decorations, and the place was very romantically lit. The meal was soooooo delicious!

Very nice, homey atmosphere with lots of wood and decorations that reminded me of something from grandmother's house. There were some old-fashioned snowshoes and fake grape vines along the walls. A bit quirky, but still cozy and cute. I shared the special Parma pizza with a friend and it was quite enough for a light meal. The pizza had tomatoes, mozzarella, Grana parmesan cheese, prosciutto, and arugula and cost Fr. 21.90. The guys mentioned something about a smoking room, but I didn't go take a look. Was quite content to chill on my chair while sipping on Apfelshorle and Panache while catching up with friends. Great atmosphere to linger and chat. :)

Came here on Saturday night and found a cool bar that was fairly packed. Dart board on the side,…read morepoles on the bar, balcony on top... yep, this place looked pretty good. There was a club downstairs that was good for drinks and dancing. The floor was quite sticky though. They didn't have proper wine glasses downstairs at the club, so the bartender just used some funky rounded glass that looked pretty cool. But she didn't seem to know what she was doing, because she poured way less red wine for me than for my friend before me. Oh well. I don't drink that much anyway. The DJ started playing some really repetitive tunes, so then it started getting boring to dance to. But still good to check out for a bit.
