Rooms were booked in the main hotel for the first night so we got to experience their pub rooms as well as the main hotel - for a fantastic overall impression. This review is for the pubhouse - Posthotel Hofherr First note is there is no elevator ( there is an elevator in the main hotel ) - my Mother In Law has severe mobility challenges & going up & down the stairs was next to impossible but we made do for the 1 night we stayed here Pub rooms were very basic and the wi-fi was only usable in the lobby. Mr & I had a corner room so this may have had something to do with it - the wi-fi started working soon as we stepped into the hallway. Beds were small & very creaky - our feet hung over the ends & we're not tall people by any means. Soap dispenser in the bathroom was hard to use And our experience wasn't complete without trying dinner downstairs at their pub - Kase spaetzle was the choice ( we get it whenever we're in Bavaria ) and we loved the real, freshly-fried onion rings used to top the dish. The noodles were a bit greasy & the cheese was a bit bland - but the onions totaly made up for any lack of flavor Others in the family ordered Schnitzel and steak and plates were cleared. But as a hotel, there are some things you should know. First of all, my single room was small but the bathroom was immaculate. It was hot when I was there (August 3-6), so I kept my French doors open a bit. And the church bells kept me awake!!! So my advice is this: close any doors or windows securely and your room will be soundproof. The breakfast room is large and the buffet is abundant. The grounds are lovely. But. . . if you rely on wi-fi, know that the free wi-fi at the Hofherr Hotspot is unreliable.
