HOLY HELL - this place is a dream! We had already been eating like royalty at the chalet, so leaving we were a little nervous and then BOOM, everything you expect from French cuisine around quality and flavor came through here. The foie gras was legitimately the best I've ever have enter my mouth. I could have ordered that consistently for hours. I wish it was like a Brazilian steakhouse where I could have taken out my paddle and kept flagging down the staff for them to serve me unlimited plates of that damn thing. So freaking good. As a large group, we opted for a fondue and a hot stone meat plate and they were exactly what we needed. Perfect portions and able to try the bounty of this places riches. CHEESE ME PLEASE is what it felt like. I had a Chablis from the gods. The dessert trio was a perfect way to dabble in all the goodies. You must go here when in Morzine. It's a little wonderland ;)

I mean who says that. Don't walk into a restaurant might be the stupidest thing I've ever heard. The door was wide open essentially welcoming anyone on the street. The burgers are, of course, very good. The thing i like the most, is that they let you help yourselves to put the sauces and vegetables, so you can make sure there is the perfect amount in there ! Only negative point is for the decoration. They just renovated recently, and i find it a little bit less intimate than it used to be. But eh, maybe it's because i knew it very well for a long time...

A good kebab place, but has absolutely nothing to do with Tacos…read more Following my arrival to Lausanne, their name "Giga Tacos" (heh) as well as the tagline "Original French Tacos" (WTF) did intrigue me. So, as a grand amateur of Mexican food, I decided to check by myself what the fuss was all about and to go there and order. First of all, the "meat+veggies+sauce" with optional fries didn't presage anything Mexican. No hot sauces; no carna assada or avocados. However there was plenty of usual components of kebab - onions, kebab meat, choice of sauces that would usually go one kebabs, etc... And to top everything, it doesn't even come in a taco, but instead wrapped in a burrito tortilla; with all being pressed in a panini machine. Don't take me wrong, the final package is delicious and can be made well-balanced with an abundance of vegetable; plus all comes for the very reasonable price of 8 CHF, drink included. However it has absolutely nothing to do with tacos or Mexican food for the matter.
