I can't say enough positive accolades about this fabulous hotel and restaurant. The food was the…read morebest we had on our 7 day travels through Switzerland and Germany and that's saying a lot. It is definitely worth the 20min tram from Basel just for dinner or lunch. Recently renovated, the hotel itself is the perfect mix of charming and stylish. And the owner and his team are just the best people and complimented by friendly residents who clearly love the place with great reason. We visited in the summer when we could enjoy walks around town but the handsome fireplace must be a real draw in winter.
