The restaurant has an open plan with basically all glass walls, so the view is awesome. There are little fireplaces spread about, which is probably important in spring/fall and critical in winter. I wore a jacket in August, but it was pleasant. Food was excellent too. We had a big group of 7, got a lot of different apps and entrees, all were very good. We also knocked down a bunch of desserts and maybe a few beers. Full bar, the staff is standard "Dutch hospitable," which is pretty amazing (even coming from a part of the US famous for hospitality). We had a good time. I'd bring my family here.

great food, amazing location!…read more i came here for dinner without a reservation and they were able to seat me right away. with a beautiful view of the canal, i ordered a pornstar martini and the buddha bowl. the buddha bowl was one of the best salads i've ever had. it was perfectly seasoned (usually i find restaurant salads overdressed) and came with perfectly crispy plant-based chicken. i was thinking about this salad for days afterwards. the pornstar martini was a little sweet and a little tart, which made it easy to enjoy. i will definitely return to try their other menu items if i come back to leiden!
