You should definitely lunch at Restaurant El Centru if near Cardona, so tasty!
I came in with my partner on a Monday holiday, but usually they are closed that day of the week. Typical Spain lunchtime after 2pm. They are located on the main town square in the old casino building. Amazing views on both sides, the elevated seating areas are nice. Staff were attentive and friendly, but a bit pricey at 30 euros for three courses.
The appetizers included six options, I chose a very tasty squash soup with shredded jamon and Parmesan on top that added a salty deliciousness to the soup. José had cannelloni with three meats, but couldn't tell what the three meats were. I had a pork cheek that was so tender and tasty that I still remember it. Laid atop perfectly cooked potato slices with asparagus and apple, it was stupefyingly good. I was so distracted I forget what he had. Dessert included several options and we went for mango sorbet and tiramisu, which were both very rich.
Cardona contains many wonders, and El Centru is a highlight for gastronomic delights. read more
