A fairly typical Italian pizzeria, this isn't a bad place to escape for lunch when it is quite busy and frequented by business peeps from the surrounding areas. At lunch they offer a Mittags Menü which is generally a salad followed by a pizza. Pasta is also available.
The salad is far from something to write home about, basically a bowl of lettuce with some dressing thrown on top. However I have come to realise this can be the norm in Switzerland. The pizza also lack a bit of imagination. For example, they might do an atrichoke pizza, which consists of a base, tomato sauce, cheese and half a dozen artichokes thrown randomly on tpo. While I am a true believer in pizzas should be kept simple - do a few flavours, but do them well, rather than trying to jam pack every possible topping known to man onto one pizza, I found the pizzas here quite on the opposite end of the spectrum and a little inspiration could help. Having said that, the service is quite friendly and others really appreciate this place. read more
