I have visited Weimar, Germany several times as a performer with the Lyric Opera Studio. I was delighted to find a place where the food was excellent, the prices were economical, and the service was fantastic. It is a Greek Restaurant-and as a Greek-I am very picky about Greek cuisine. But I had to find this place on Yelp and give it 5 stars because the food is prepared properly, traditionally and with quality ingredients. I highly recommend checking this place out if you are in the area-you won't regret it! read more

I have been to many Greek restaurants in the US, including New York-and I have to say that Apollon is the best! The authentic kitchen and delightful atmosphere compliment a fantastic menu of traditional Greek dishes at an inexpensive price. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Weimar-Apollon restaurant will not disappoint you. read more

While on Vacation we found this lovely Restaurant "El Greco"…read more We went there on a Monday and where lucky that they where open since they it is there usual day that is closed. We where greeted very friendly and seated promptly. The decorations where nice and festive for the Christmas season. We got a free Ouzo after being seated that was a nice gesture. We ordered: Sternquell Pils and Atlantis red wine: The wine was very good. Akropolis- Platte for 2 people: Gyros, 2 Lamb chops, 2 Suwlaki, 2 pork steaks, Greek Noodles, Garlic potato's, Tsatziki and 2 side salads. We opted for one regular salad and one Kraut salad. They even decorated the plates individually was nice. Everything was very good and flavorful I would recommend this "Platte" since you can try everything, the Tsatziki was amazing my favorite. The Meats and potato's where yummy. We ordered a side or rice to try as well. After asking for some spice we where given grilled Peperoni they where great rounded out our amazing meal. The Restaurant is very nice the food Amazing, the service wonderful and the location is perfect there is plenty parking outside of the Passage. When in the area again this will be our go to Greek!!

Eine Empehlung für einen netten Abend- das griechische Restaurant Apollon in Weimar. Wir waren in Weimar unterwegs und nach einem Tag voller kultureller Eindrücke auch sehr hungrig. Wie es der Zufall wollte stießen wir auf das Restaurant Apollon in der Washingtonstr. Ecke August -Frölich Platz. Ein Restaurant mit sehr guter Küche, netter Bedienung und einem großen Biergarten in dem man in den Sommermonaten den Blick über den Platz Richtung Herz-Jesu-Kirche schweifen lassen kann. Fazit: Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Essen, Getränke, Bedienung und Gäste passen sehr gut. Wir kommen wieder!!!! read more

Freundliches Griechisches Restaurant mit leckerer traditioneller Küche! Von sehr guten vegetarischen Vorspeisen, Hühnersüppchen, super lecker Biftecki und Pastizio bis zu deftigem Lamm hat die Küche alles zu bieten mit kleinem Salatteller vorneweg :) Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre geprägt von der guten Laune der griechisc hen Inhaber und einer schnellen und freundlichen Bedienung.
