We went to this restaurant with a big group (apprx. 20ppl) but called them a few hours before, so they wouldn't have a problem.
But still the waiters seemed to be overwhelmed.
My critic points:
1. On the card stood, that they would be serving Coke and Pepsi. I ordered Coke but got a Pepsi. Later I asked, if they didn't had Coke and they told me they didn't. Why was it on a card? I know this is just a small point, but still I think, this shouldn't happen.
2. I ordered a schnitzel out of chopped chicken breast. I costed around 35PLN. After I ordered this, I said "And that's it", but the waitress asked me what kind of addition I want and of course I thought, that it would be included to the schnitzel, but later I had to pay my fries separately. I didn't want to order them and I was a little mad, because she kind of compelled me to order an addition.
3. On the German and English card stood NOTHING about mushrooms on the schnitzel, that was also a reason for me to order it. But still it was completed coated by them. When I asked my waitress about it, ahe told me, it was just on the outside and I just should scrap it of.
But the taste of the mushrooms soaked into the breading of the schnitzel and well... It just wasn't what I was prepared for.
But there were also some good things:
The diner tasted okay, not perfect , but it was okay. This is the reason why I giv 2/5 and not 1/5.
And the waitresses looked really nuce in the traditional gown and this created an interesting, traditional atmosphere.
But all in all, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to other people, but maybe it's better when you are a group of fewer people and speak polnish. read more
