We had a very nice dinner here after a day at the Lednice Castle. The food was well prepared and very tasty. The meat portions were a little small compared to similar restaurants we've tried, but that left us room for dessert, which was fantastic. Service was excellent and timely. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed, no white linen, although the wait staff seemed ready to serve as though it were more formal. This restaurant proved itself worthy of its reputation for being booked out on the calendar for reservations. We were lucky to be able to make it in with little wait at the unique time of day we popped in for a late lunch. The appetizet, venison pate, was incredibly appetizing without being overly salty like some pates can be. The cabbage soup needs to be on everyone's table. It was my first time trying cabbage soup. This may not sound appealing to non-Europeans. Get past that and embrace this excellent and richly flsvorgul stew of a soup that has sausage, among other things. The house sausage and short rib entrées furthered the quality impression this restaurant left on our tastebuds. No room for dessert. Espresso regular as a digestif was so so in taste compared to other restaurants and cafes. This region serves wonderful Czech wines and must accompany your meal if you enjoy wine. read more

Meals were delicious! Duck breast so tender and juicy, couldn't complain! Plus very interesting side dish of different "puree". Though the staff was quite slow and not very attentive. read more
