They never pick up the pump and has billed a co-pay each month. In an effort to return it, I made roughly 6 phone calls and was transferred at least 8 times. No one wanted to help. Realo, in this case, where they know me by name, and even the brand's of genetics I prefer. (If they tell you all genetics are the same, they are k painful lying to you. I'm living proof. But additionally, they go out of their way, consulting with my doctor, helping find alternative options if my insurance doesn't want to pay for certain medicines. Sounds like some aren't as well run as others. I suppose I'm lucky. I've never been treated like a junky, I even showed 3 of their primary pharmacists the MRI images one day on the way home from picking up said images. I also get spinal injections from a neurologist. Everyone acknowledges that I must be in pretty consistent pain, and such medicines are the only thing that help any...I just be honest with everyone from my Doc, to my Neurologist, to my pharmacist. If you are treated like a drug seeker, perhaps you are acting like one? I've seen grown men throw fits when there was some issue with their pain meds. Trying to get a fill around 10 days early was one I overheard. Sounds suspicious to me. And the laws are tightening all the time on opiates, because of drug seeking addicts. They are the ones that make it hard on legitimate pain patients. I've been told I may need schedule 2 meds for the rest of my life, so I've watched the rules change over many years, and seeing how my meds are affected. Because of low inventory I've had to find a temporary substitute too man times. If people didn't steal entire 18 wheeler loads of nothing but oxycodone, it wouldn't be SO difficult to get a prescription for ANY pain med prescription, for those in real pain with a valid need..
