Somehow, he noticed my fall and began carefully backing his truck toward me, inch by inch, despite the icy conditions that made maneuvering difficult. He helped me to my feet, and with his assistance and my wife's support, I was able to get safely back into the house. It was an incredibly busy and dangerous day for him, yet he took the time to stop and help. He easily could have looked the other way and continued on his route, but instead he made a deliberate choice to show kindness. In a moment when I truly needed help, a stranger stepped up--and that simple act of compassion made all the difference.

Republic Services has great rates, friendly customer service and responds to requests promptly! Unfortunately, after using them for a year, we moved out of state. When I called for the last pick up, they picked up the trash, recycling and then picked up our bins on the same day!!! When we were with Waste Management, it took them over a month to pick up our containers..and that was after calling them 3 times to remind them!!! Also, because of our move, Republic Services issued a refund check for the portion of unused service without me even calling them!!!
