The location really is unbeatable, great restaurants, Target, and shopping all nearby, and multiple beaches less than 15 minutes away. The hotel itself is brand new which makes a real difference, everything feels fresh, clean, and modern. The staff is genuinely kind and helpful throughout. For a hotel it is remarkably quiet overall, which is a big plus. The only downside was we arrived around 3 pm and they don't offer early check in. A couple of things worth noting for light sleepers, there is some highway noise and the usual sounds of doors opening and closing that come with any hotel. The AC system is whisper quiet which is great for keeping the room cool but won't provide much white noise to drown out sound. If you rely on white noise to sleep, bring a backup plan like a white noise app! Overall a really solid, well located hotel that we'd happily stay at again. Especially if you're visiting Mayo Clinic, you truly couldn't ask for a more convenient location.

Regretfully, I don't have any photos to share but I do want to commend them on both the food and the service. I was immediately greeted upon entering the lobby and directed to the Northstar Ballroom for our event. The service attendants were very friendly & unbelievably prompt at clearing plates. There were four food stations and a bar set up within the ballroom. We were able to select from a choice of beers, wines, or a special festive mocktail. The food stations included a build-your-own Caesar salad plus bruschettas, a mac and cheese station with toppings to customize as you like, a turkey carving station, and a dessert station with holiday cookies and mini fruit tarts. Everything I ate was very good but some of the items really wowed me. The roasted turkey was fantastic & this is coming from someone who isn't a huge fan of turkey. I really liked the Caesar dressing & the ability to add as much shaved parmesan cheese as I desired. The creamy cheese sauce on the cavatappi noodles combined with the crispy bacon pieces made the mac & cheese a winner for me. Based upon this experience, I would happily book an event at the Hilton.

The room was just fine - clean, good AC, hot shower, comfy beds, TV with enough channels. Wash gel, shampoo, conditioner cartridges on the wall in the shower, body lotion by the sink. Rooms were quiet while we were here. Elevators worked well. Free breakfast buffet served 7am-10am and offered more than enough - eggs, bacon, sausages, potatoes, yogurt, fruit, pastries, hot oatmeal, juice machine, make your own waffle irons with toppings - and a dining area to sit and enjoy. Plus, they have free coffee and tea available in the lobby all day and night. Small workout room with a few cardio machines which was closed for renovations, and an indoor pool which I never saw anyone use. Plenty of parking. Self use laundry room which worked out well after almost a week here. Plenty of stores and places to eat across the street and close by. They also have a small area by the front desk for snacks and toiletries for purchase. Front desk and hotel staff were friendly. Its an older hotel but seemed well maintained and clean overall. No complaints here.

The breakfast they serve was decent as well. Usually my first night in a new place it's hard for me to sleep but not here... I was Abel to sleep with no problem. The staff were all great and very friendly, one of the things I loved was that the bathroom and rooms were very spacious. Since they do get a lot of Mayo Clinic patients they even do a happy meal to go in the mornings, when they are on the go and don't have time or can't eat breakfast before their surgery. That just warms my heart. The only issue I had was my key card continued to stop working which was a bit annoying. But I switched to the digital key card eventually. I highly recommend them if you are in the area plus it's very convenient next to all your major stores and food locations.

They can afford to remodel this hotel from top to bottom as well as hire an entirely new cleaning staff that is trained properly. The shower heads has so much green limescale it makes the water pressure low. Soak the shower heads!! Cleaning the bathroom sink fixtures has so much filth and grim!! Ugh! I am so disappointed and disgusted!! The only reason we are staying is bc the insurance booked us at this property and we had no other choices! Bistro is incredible expensive with a limited menu!

    I stayed here for 4 nights and had a very disappointing experience…read more First of all, housekeeping threw away one of my shopping bags without my permission. The bag was NOT in the trash - it was on the floor of my room - and it contained the receipt and tag for a shirt I bought at Nordstrom Rack. Because of this, I lost $70 since I can no longer return it. This is 100% the hotel's fault and completely unacceptable. Second, there was no Do Not Disturb sign provided in the room. Every day, even when I did not want service, housekeeping entered my room. This is a huge privacy issue and should never happen. When I brought this problem to the front desk: The night staff was polite and professional. But the morning shift lady was extremely unprofessional, dismissive, and rude. She claimed housekeeping said my bag was empty (which is simply not true), refused to take any responsibility, and just told me there was no manager on duty. Instead of helping, she told me to "take a business card and call the manager later." As someone who has worked in hotels myself and as a business owner, I know exactly how guests should be treated. The lack of responsibility, poor training, and dishonesty from staff here is shocking. I strongly request to be reimbursed for the $70 I lost. Someone needs to take responsibility and fix this situation. At the very least, train your staff properly so future guests are not treated this way. I will not recommend this location to anyone and will reconsider staying at Holiday Inn Express in the future.

With taxes and…read morefees, our room was over $800 per night, so we expected a restful, high-quality experience. While the property itself is beautiful and the woman who checked us in was warm and welcoming, our stay unfortunately ended on a very negative note. We had to check out at 3:40 a.m. for an early flight and went to bed early. The room next door was hosting a loud party with multiple people, and we could clearly hear laughing and shouting through the walls. Just after midnight, I called the front desk and explained that we had an early flight and couldn't sleep due to the noise. Brittany assured me she would send security. However, the noise continued without any change, and it never sounded as though security approached the room. At 12:53 a.m., when the noise grew even louder, I called again. This time I was told that security "did not believe it was a disturbance." At that point, I genuinely felt as though the resort was prioritizing the enjoyment of the party next door over our ability to rest--despite a clear request for assistance and the fact that we needed to be up in just three hours for a cross-country flight. I again explained what we were hearing and asked that someone please address the issue. Finally, at 1:04 a.m., security broke up the party. By then, it was extremely difficult to fall asleep before our 3:00 a.m. alarm, leaving us exhausted for a long travel day. When we checked out this morning, the front desk associate Effrain printed our receipt but did not ask how our stay was or thank us for visiting. When I mentioned this, he stated that it was "early in the morning" for him. I explained the situation from the night before, and he replied that he didn't know anything about it but could "write it in a report." When we asked how to contact a manager, he said we could email but did not have an email address to provide, stating that he had only been there three months. We came to Ponte Vedra to attend my company's executive Christmas party and hoped for a relaxing weekend. While the resort is undeniably beautiful, the lack of responsiveness to a legitimate noise disturbance--combined with dismissive customer service at checkout--left us extremely disappointed, especially at this price point. We truly wish our experience had matched the reputation and cost of the resort.
